Longtime sex therapist and advice columnist Dr. Ruth Westheimer is facing backlash for comments she made Monday, after she suggested a woman cant change her mind about having sex with a man once shes naked in bed with him.
Appearing on the The Diane Rehm Show, the 86-year-old doctor said once two people are aroused and in bed together, the time for changing ones mind has passed, Mashable reported.
I am very worried about college campuses saying that a woman and a man or two men or two women, but I talk right now about woman and man can be in bed together, Diane, and most of the time they think she can say, I changed my mind. No such thing is possible, Dr. Ruth said.
She cited ancient Jewish scripture to back up her claim.
In the Talmud, in the Jewish tradition, it says when that part of the male anatomy is aroused and theres an erection, the brain flies out of the head and we have to take that very seriously, so I dont agree with that, she said.
The backlash was swift, and the octogenarian later took to Twitter to defend her stance.

How many of ya just lost your dinner?
According to the Weather Underground, saying NO to free love on demand and partner swapping (even of same sex) is a sex crime.
“Rape?” Not in Bill Ayers’ eyes.
Is it possible to have one clean 'fish'? Ruth, clean that fish!
Pull back what?
Makes sense to me, too; unless the man starts getting unexpectedly violent.
Miss Marmelstein is correct in her post 7. Getting to know people before you ‘git nekkid’ with them, helps keep you out of heaps of trouble....

How do you determine which wrinkle to aim for? And the dust. She's about 150 years old... While I'm sure that she knows every way there is, there are any number of things I can stand not to discover.
Wouldn't you think kids smart enough to get into college could figure that out?
Assuming she takes her clothes off and gets into bed willingly, she’s going to have a hard time convincing me, as a juror, that it’s a case of rape.
So would I. with a crowbar.
A stiff pecker has only one eye, and it's blind.
No but from the reactions, apparently, common sense is.
The popular culture has been teaching kids for a long time that a ‘one night stand’ is just a harmless romp.
When I went to college (mumble) years ago, one of the first things they did in the ‘orientation’ was to get us into a sex class and pass around condoms while they lectured us on how to use them. That basically told the kids (I was a 17-year-old virgin) that they EXPECTED us to be having sex. And if you were not, and were surprised by all of this as I was, the underlying message was that one was not ‘in step’ with one’s peers.
I don’t know what they do, now; it would seem that since then, prime-time television alone would have had a couple of generations of kids all brainwashed and ripe for lousy sexual experiences. And after such lousy experiences, no wonder that many of them question their sexuality, and sexuality in general.
The popular culture - and academia - have created this mess; and now their solution to the problem seems to be to create insane, schizoid sexual ‘policies’ that only really come down on the young MEN.

I’ve taken one look at some women’s feet and changed my mind.
I usually say something about my cat has diarrhea and apologize....
Then I drink ;some more and thank God I wasn’t drunk...er...
Either way, there is a real risk they get stabbed no matter what...
And what those young men don't know until they get snared by the system is that they have no rights at all - the Department of Education and college administrators have thrown due process out the window. So far, they've gotten away with it.
Yes, women must be careful. It was true in the middle ages, ancient times and today. Although, there are nice men who would never hurt a woman no matter what the provocation. That’s why I love and admire western men.
Were they men’s feet like Bruce Jenner’s?
