SACRAMENTO, Calif. (KCRA) It's a television ad that runs just 30 seconds, but its implication that immigrants are draining resources during the California drought has critics contending its message is divisive and untrue.
"I think those ads are disingenuous," said Sen. Ricardo Lara, a Democrat from Bell Gardens. "They serve to further divide us as Californians."

At least until Governor Moonbeam sends his Hot Kamala after 'em.
Oh, and look up in the sky! Pig are flying.
The truth does divide: into right and wrong!
Amazing. Simply Amazing.
“I think those ads are disingenuous,” said Sen. Ricardo Lara, a Democrat from Bell Gardens.
Of course you do, Sen Lara. Well, I think the lies you’ve told about why illegals in CA deserve for the taxpayer to pay for their 0bomaCare are disingenuous.
Dissent is apparently to divisive for democrats
We probably have 10 million illegals who drink, cook and use a shower and twice a year the shower. You know they use water and billions in CA state assistance and education a year.
Text runs: 98% of all new residents over x years are immigrants.
Best ad I've ever seen.
FAIR (The Federation for American Immigration Reform) put out a report for last year and put the cost of services provided by California to the illegal immigration population at $25.3 billion. Hardly chump change. Of course if you tell that to someone like state senator Lara he’ll say the illegals provide much more to the people of California than the cost of providing them healthcare, education for their kids, and other state sponsored services including interpreters and food stamps. California is simply killing itself and the Democrats are just digging the financial grave for that state.

How can it be untrue? Do the illegals bring water from Mexico or go to nevada to flush a toilet?
Oooh, California moonbats are not to keen on facts. This could get the independents thinking.
That can’t be good Sacramento Marxists.
Go after Babs water and see what happens.
Mysoginyst!!!!!!
I’ve always said if they’d kick out illegal aliens, California would have plenty of water to survive the drought, plus money saved from public services used by illegal aliens. That the are out of water and broke is their own fault.
I thought I was being racist, who knew?
Well if you are white it goes without saying...
Re LA’s Los Feliz district, I walk about 1/4 mile to the grocery and see three, maybe four mothers, fathers...families pushing kids in strollers or carrying them in packs. There are a lot of people having kids here.
If this ad is true for the state, it does not apply here.
I thought the boy was kind, I would have been a lot harsher, so I say let him continue to share his kindness. He is just asking a couple questions, you know lets teach the children. Maybe should have it in several languages so everybody can understand it.
I don't have a feel for how CA voters think any more. Is this ad having any impact?
Kids asks: If birthrates are so law, where are all the people coming from?
Text runs: 98% of all new residents over x years are immigrants.
Best ad I’ve ever seen.
next ad idea- how is there income inequality growing...poor illegal immigrants living in the US
