I can’t say I don’t agree with both statements.
On the other hand I suppose a lot of people don’t like Trump as they have watched his show. I have not. I am not at all familiar with this reaction against him but I suspect it is based on the show and his personality. It could be they are right, but it really bugs me that the illegal problem is not more center stage. Living in Phx and watching it turn to like 40 percent of them is driving me crazy. They all in every store, every hospital, the traffic has become clogged with them, they have millions of kids each one, and are looking all the time for some sort of help. The Walmart parking lot is crowded with them looking for jobs, the crime has gone up due to illegals. I have a friend in NM, she says its worse, and they are a sanctuary state. It’s a big problem. One guy talking about it? Even Tancredo knew the story, of course no one gave Tancredo any consideration. He had a very low percentage of voters, and may have not been a good choice on other grounds but why is it not that others see this as the major problem it is. Braggadocio or whatever, at least Trump has listed it as something on his platform.
But I'm very, very disappointed about his stand regarding Geller. Perhaps I'm just looking for the non-existent perfect candidate.
I don’t like Trump because as a NYer, I’ve had to put up with his showboating for 40 years now. And who can forget his marriage to Marla Maples when, if I remember correctly, he marched her down the aisle dressed in white while she was pregnant! And then there’s his gilding of everything he touches in the city - including General Sherman and his horse. And worst of all? His instances on eating pizza with a knife and fork.
Oh, and The Donald: Wollman Rink was 30 years ago. You haven’t done anything for the city since.
