Pakistan knows that if one of their nukes goes off in the Untied States their country would disappear from a Trident launch without any warning. Nah, the USA would hit Syria. Or maybe Monaco. They don't have a recent history of accurately fingering the bad guys.

Nuclear weapons leave fingerprints and we would know the origin of the warhead and Pakistan knows that if one of their nukes goes off in the Untied States their country would disappear from a Trident launch without any warning. The same for any other county, but than again Iran doesnt care because they welcome Armageddon.
Iman Baraq would have to order it. Won't happen.

Obama wants a nuke detonated here, that is the difference. He’ll probably hve dhs help them get it in here. If it’s not one of our own in a false flag ordered by Barry himself.

Barry will not order this. Whoever actually did it wont get nuked. if anyone does, in retaliation, you can be sure its not going to be barry’s friends who just nuked us.

The Islamic State terrorist organization proclaims it's now "infinitely" closer to buying a nuclear weapon and sneaking it inside the United States than it has ever been... Next time someone tries to throw the old "the arabs invented algebra!" thing at me I'll remember this line and shrug.

The only saving grace here is Pakistan is known for betraying everyone - the US, Iran, Arabs, Russians ... and I’m sure they’ll screw over ISIS too.
Other than that, if ISIS gets a nuke they’ll destroy Washington DC.

Unfortunately the talk has us wringing our hands and weeing in our pants rather then turning them into dust. We need a leader willing to take them on.

Any nuke they get in here will be large and not that powerful. For maximum impact (deaths) you nuke a full sports stadium. Park a large van near the stadium

Small town USA isnt going to be the target, the huge population centers are the targets. Most likely Miami, NYC, LA,or Las Vegas. Detroit and Chicago, not so much but Washington DC could be, but I dont think the Terrorists could contend with the traffic. "Washington DC could be", that would a grand slam cleanup if the chief narcissist were addressing a joint session of Congress.
I'd miss all the historical buildings and Arlington National Cemetery but maybe a clean slate would make it worthwhile. Instant Urban Renewal!

Unfortunately the talk has us wringing our hands and weeing in our pants rather then turning them into dust. We need a leader willing to take them on. If a sneak attack up the Potomac took out DC there would be a notable lack of leadership around to orchestrate a response. One must hope that the Trident boats C&C protocols include the possibility of losing DC and include a redundant link to targeting information and authorization to fire as a fall back position.

GtG

This is true, but if D.C. is the target than the acting General left in command of strategic forces would have authority.

Perhaps a detonated nuke on US soil will finally be a wake up call. When (not if) Iran gets nukes in a few years Obama will completely own it.
And yet, it will still be Bush's fault.

The Homeland inSecurity border is wide open. If they do it, I say we kill all the leadership of homeland insecurity.
