WASHINGTON (AP) — A Supreme Court ruling due in a few weeks could wipe out health insurance for millions of people covered by President Barack Obama's health care law. But it's Republicans — not White House officials — who have been talking about damage control.

Romney was a republican governor in a VERY democrat state. He did not invent Romneycare, the democrats in MA did. He just signed it, because they would have overridden him anyway. So he joined with them to make the best of what was going to happen anyway.

Then he was too poor of a politician to exploit that fact, so he owned it.

The entire EXEMPT GOP has lied, lied, lied.
LIED.

The EXEMPT GOP deserves to be saddled, then tarred and
feathered (not Sen. Cruz) because they LIED to win.

Is that GOP derangement syndrome?
No it is not. It is an awakening. We will NEVER
vote for the GOP again. Even Sen. Warren is to the
right of the GOP, as the last vote did show, which
gave the Tyrant even MORE unConstitutional powers.

The GOP is the Enemy of the American people, and that
starts with Boehner and McConnell, not Sen. Cruz.

Myth Romney laughed as he signed RomneyCARE.
Mr. RomneyCARE imposed it with a laugh, a smile and GLEE.

That is the answer. This was passed in the dark of night without a single republican vote.

Ricardo sounds like he’s starting to panic over losing the “free stuff”. He may need to go to MEHico for free stuff.

How many Americans will be affected?

The vast majority of working Americans with insurance from their jobs will not be very much effected. Those that are working 30 hours may get to work a full 40 hour week. Those that are paying or threatened with very high deductibles or thresholds may get them reduced.

Only a very few million that in effect have what are bad catastrophic policies are effected. They may be able to buy catastrophic replacement policies on the new insurance market cheaper

The real end to the Obamacare taxes will benefit all.

Compared to the down side, the up side looks very very good

I keep praying that republicans will not be stampeded by the fear tactics of “it’s all the GOP’s fault”. Fortunately, we have Boehner, McCain, McConnell, Graham, Romney, Christie, and others to stand up for freedom. What could go wrong?

“That is the answer. This was passed in the dark of night without a single republican vote.”

Only because they didn’t need any Republican votes to pass it. Had they needed a few Republican votes to get it over I have no doubt they would have found them.
Both parties want this now.

“...so you’re okay with people like Ted Cruz getting saddled with Obama Care blame, just so you can rant some more about Mitt? You have Mitt derangement syndrome. No, I didn’t support him, but I realize he’s not relevant now.”

1. History is relevant - Mittens’ Masshole Romnyecare was used as an excuse by the Propaganda arms to push support for the the Commies effort to pass Obamacare

2. Ted Cruz will get blamed by the same Propaganda arms PERIOD.

You need to get with the program - RINOs such as Mittens ARE the problem. The Commies have their supporters and we can not do much about that.

Dumb move by Romney. He should have vetoed it even though they had the votes to override his veto. Then years later he could have disavowed it. Instead, thanks to him signing it, now they hang it on him (”romneycare”) even though it really belongs to the democrats who crafted it.

The fact that they had the votes to override his veto was no excuse to cave and sign it.

The WH owns it. The dems voted for it. No GOP member supported it. One would think the WH and Dems would bear the brunt of the blame.

The GOP will take the blame. It’s what they do.

Dems are framing the issue while Grand Old P[baby kitt]ies make excuse after excuse as to why ACA cannot be changed. They will claim no choice but to pass legislation to make subsidies legal in all states because Obama will veto anything else.

I will blame the GOP because they have done nothing to keep the problems caused by the ACA on the front burner, issues which go so far beyond high premiums and having to find a new doctor.

Totally disagree. The Dems believe that the masses love the sudsidies but the red state folks have seen enough of the rise in premiums, cost and deductibles for plans that they had that were affordable and met their needs. I believe that they will blame Obama for this fiasco. My thoughts but I hope I am correct

The sheep will think what the media tells them to think. They will blame whom the media tells them to blame.

To illustrate: Kennedy and Johnson began and widened our involvement in the Viet Nam War. Yet, I have heard time after time the Left and sheeple referring to it as Nixon's War.

Well, first my post was not to you, so that you took it personally is 100% inappropriate. Second, Iv’e written a best selling book about the problem with Mitt, Rove and the entire Republican establishment - along with dozens if not hundreds of articles, and hundreds of interviews on the topic. And I cover every election since 1980 in making my case, so I’m good on the history standpoint, thank you very much.

That does not mean however that an appropriate rant on this particular thread would include Mitt. It was done by someone who never posts about anything other than Mitt....which is kind of infantile.

Speaking of framing the issue, check out how the media is dictating the narrative. If the Court upholds the Obamacare provisions, it will be a huge defeat for the 'Pubs. If the Court strikes down the Obamacare provisions, the 'Pubs will be blamed and it will be a huge defeat for the 'Pubs. IOW, no matter how the Court rules, it is a "huge defeat" for the 'Pubs by the media's "logic". Sounds an awful lot like, heads I win, tails you lose. But the 'Pubs may just be stupid enough to fall for it, and the sheeple truly are stupid enough to believe it.
