This year’s ‘John Carter’, although many say that movie was actually pretty good; it was the title and marketing that sucked.

The premise of this movie seems unappealing to me.

Just another on an increasingly long list of actors and actresses I wouldn't waste my money to see...not even at Redbox.

Is this a pro-gay Disney film, a warning about climate change, or both? Kinda worried about their version of “tomorrow”.

I saw this today and liked it. It got so so reviews.
While the plot could have been fleshed out better the theme of the movie was one, I thought, of hope, optimism, and also unrealized potential.
The movie started out at the 1964 World's Fair, which along with the 1939 World's Fairs, both in New York, showcased a future that those at the time thought was attainable.
Along with the movie 2001 that built upon this we have never reached that potential. Now it is gloom and doom on a global level lead by the Climate Changers, Terrorism, abject left-wing Socialism, and Communists. All of which seek to control all of us and impose a Social Utopia that can never be, exist, or even work.
Anyway I thought it a pretty good thought provoking movie and will watch it again.

I’m gonna spend my box-office dollars tomorrow, renting ‘American Sniper’.

I will not give a liberal like Clooney any of my hard earned money. I will not pay Hollywood or Disney for any movie that has any leftist agenda. Soon this movie will be in the $5 bin at WalMart along with the other crappy movies.

My daughter wanted to see it, so we went Friday afternoon.
Not really bad, just kind of pointless. And long. It never seemed to get around to what it was trying to get around to.
A little preachy but in more of an upbeat way than usual Hollywood.

Brad Pitt saw how to make a money maker and a film that will be timeless with “Fury”. Clooney needs to stand back and distance himself from the Demo/lib/homo types he plays to and try making a movie that appeals to the fly over Americans that really pay the bills.

The funny part of this is that idealistic fantasy was long a mainstay of the Soviet Union and eastern bloc because of their censorship. The future always had to be perfectly communist.
The irony is that Disney always imagined a technologically advanced capitalistic future. So for Disney to make this flotsam means that it has truly discarded its old vision.
That the movie is showing signs of being a stinker is no great surprise.
