It's Not Race That Divides Us, But Culture

The racialists in power have again called us to an “honest discussion” about race. As they foresee it, this honest discussion will involve those of us who do not practice racism, but are not black, to come forward, confess our inherent racism, and be duly chastised or punished. Dialogue is not going to be part of the process, since non-blacks have already been found guilty, and the president’s jury is not remotely interested in evidence.

The trap in the president’s faux invitation is that it focuses our attention on the wrong component. The emphasis on race assumes too much, but does so because it advances the agenda of dividing us on grand scales, which is more conducive to the illusion of victimhood and the cure of entitlement. To divide by race in the way practiced by the president and the left enables them to hide one set of social realities from scrutiny, while predetermining the fault of another social set, based entirely on the colors of their skin, as long as it is understood that the guilty are not black. How is it possible that two or more groups, coincidentally divided by skin color, live in the same country but do not live in the same reality?

To hear our black, democratically elected president tell it, our dystopian nation is a hellhole of virulent racism. Thus, every thought, word or action that is critical of the president, and those who peddle racial victimhood and entitlement, is inherently racist. This is the rationale of a leftist, of a simpleton, because there is far too much history and evidence to the contrary to entertain it as serious. No nation on Earth more consciously ensures equality of treatment than ours.

What other "culture" ever taught its own kids that it was "traitorous" ("acting 'White'") to accept education that is offered at exorbitant cost, paid for by the very "honkies" they despise?

That's really going to backfire. Latinos are just as racist as everyone else, but they lack the guilty conscience of the white liberal. Of course it is culture and not race. Melanin content in the skin does virtually nothing to the individual's abilities and capabilities.

However, when you look at the world, and how poorly run things are in populated areas with all-black leadership, no matter what culture they follow (urban American, animist African, Muslim African), you start to wonder. And then you look at the stark differences in crime statistics in the US by race, and you wonder some more.

This is a great article that explains to everyone what is really going on. Hysteria and shouting down the perceived opposition has become the preferred dialogue of the Left.
Sheriff David Clark has been saying this for a long time.

I believe that there are more David Clarks out there who are afraid to speak out for fear of retribution, not only from their own community, but from everyone on the left. It is good vs evil and has been caused by a small number of those who make others fearful through violence and gang control of neighborhoods and perhaps, through those who are politically elected in some neighborhoods. I feel sorry for the good people in that Baltimore neighborhood. The police are now doing everything by the book. They are keeping their distance and it is totally understandable. We still have no clue as to what happened to Mr. Gray but evil took over immediately and made destructive decisions which were carried out because of the culture there. I wonder what the true story is about the surgery Gray was supposed to have had on his spine only a week prior to his arrest. Was that true or has it been refuted and I missed it? It is true, though, that if a lie is repeated long enough, people believe it even if it becomes known as a bald-faced lie.
