Despite the characterization by police that the afternoon gathering at a Twin Peaks restaurant in Waco, Texas that led to Sundays bloody shooting incident was a gathering of criminal biker gangs with violent intent, the meeting appears to have been a legitimate, organized gathering of motorcycle riders meeting to discuss political issues.
The group that met was the Texas Confederation of Clubs and Independents (CoC&I) and a look at that groups website and history gives a very different impression of the groups purpose and goals than what has been said repeatedly by Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton.

Like you...CCW, etc. still returning rifle fire with a handgun probably ain’t real wise. Better to find cover ASAP.
And how, precisely, do you propose they do that?
>> This is getting more and more interesting.
Disheartening.
They may not have known it was rifle fire or even fire from the cops. I would definitely and instinctively pulled my weapon and found cover
I tried to tell them I was Asatru and it was a religious reference.
Didn’t buy that.
:D
That’s one thing that has not been discussed in all this ... we hear that bikers had drawn weapons ... well if those guns were drawn in self defense that happens to be LEGAL ... even if it’s in self defense from out of control cops.
That'd be me, but that isn't what I said--if you bothered to read later clarifications. I said to prevent conflicts--as in not too many rides in the same area on the same weekend. But go ahead, twist that like you twist everything else.
EXCLUSIVE: Executed with point blank shots to the head, and one killed in front of his son - how eight Cossacks died in Waco breastaurant bloodbath after months of bitter gang rivlary and a razed clubhouse
They have always been allies ....
Bullshit. You have distorted what I said in other threads and then used it without attribution to try to escape direct confrontation.
The reality is that no one knows the absolute truth about what went on down there unless they were involved and maybe not even then. I'm guessing that you aren't a waitress, and the bikers are in jail, so that would make you a shill for a police agency involved or a liar. How am I doing?
No offense but some of that conflicts with previous wound descriptions of the dead
Just pointing that out
Really? Or were those words you put in someone's mouth? You have been doing a lot of that on these threads.
Camo? But then the cagers will really be able to say they "didn't see you".
All reports indicate that each of the nine deaths were the responsibility of the police, none of whom were stationed in the restaurant, and among whom were several snipers; command and control (so to speak) were in the parking lot.
A pushing match, originating in the restaurant Men's Room, about 45 minutes before the scheduled meeting, accelerated into a wrestling match with knives pulled. It is said the "dispute" maneuvered out the main entrance where one of the "disputant's" colleagues pulled out "a handgun," according to the Waco Police IO.
It was then, in the midst of this deteriorating situation, that shots were fired.
The Twin Peaks franchise owner had refused to "cancel" the gathering, and the "disappointed" police "authorities" responded by what might be considered an over-deployment, including "several snipers" and non-uniforms (sic) situated primarily in the parking lot.
I can only speculate about what seems obvious, without knowing more about the actual scene, including whether there may or may not be a nefarious motive for the clear use of propaganda, playing on the widespread (in certain cases very justified) prejudice against even the appearance of outlawry, to justify both deadly force and the wholesale arrests of more than a hundred "bikers."
Many other factors may unfortunately factor into what seems to have been an over-reaction. Among these may or may not be anxieties on the part of authorities about the War Games presently underway, for example.
All in all, not the best time and place to hold a biker gathering.
I can't help but wonder why, within an hour of the scheduled meeting time, there weren't uniforms in the restaurant.
I’d take that DM report with a grain of salt...for one thing it has Jesus Delgado Rodriguez listed as a deceased Cossack which is not correct according to local reports.
I respectfully submit that your statement is unfair to the OHNG.
The truth about what happened at KSU has been difficult to find for over 40 years.
Scroll down a bit to "Mobs Attack National Guard/Sniper Fire Reported/Gunfire Confirmed in 2010"
There are no reports that Waco LEO's were attacked with "bricks, concrete, golf clubs, baseball bats, spiked golf balls, sling shots and ball bearings, razor embedded blocks of wood and bags of excrement".
Nor are there any reports of sniper fire directed toward the cops.
I have a bad feeling, that if the truth ever comes out about this incident, it's going to look more like Ruby Ridge or the Branch Davidians than Kent State.
It is established that one gang organized the event, Bandidos. Then the Cossoks, a rival gang showed up? It is not beyond the realm of possiblity the rival gang would have a brawl for notoriety and attack their rivals anywhere they could, AND especially in a big big way.
In regards to the cops shooting people I imagine it looked exactly the same as a lion hunting a zebra. Everyone running in all different directions looking all the same in badge clad leather or denim vests. Ballistics will tell the story.
I don’t have any facts that anyone else does here. I just don’t see the cops setting up this meeting just so they could start shooting people.
What would be interesting is to know what kind of intelligence cops have, or will find, from gang leaders in prison.
Waiting..., waiting...
FWIW, since Obeyme ascended the throne, bikers, as a whole, have become much more politically vocal and active.
.....
Over the course of an average summer, I am around thousands of them.
I have yet to meet one single O supporter.
Quite to the contrary.
So, if I hear correctly what you are saying, white lives don’t matter... Unless they vote socialist.
So what?
Congress combines legitimate elements with criminal as well.
