Waco police took issue with online conspiracy theories regarding Sunday's shooting at a Twin Peaks restaurant, with a spokesman saying Thursday the department "can't wait" to show the public "what truly happened."
Police have said after a disturbance in the parking lot Sunday, a fight began in the restaurant's bathroom that quickly escalated into an armed brawl and shootout that left nine motorcycle gang members dead and another 18 injured.
According to Waco police, the deadly altercation began after one gang of bikers showed up uninvited to a planned meeting of other motorcycle groups at the restaurant.
"You will eventually see what happened at Twin Peaks," said Waco police spokesman Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton in a news conference Thursday at 5:30 p.m. "I've seen it... It was horrible."
Sgt. Swanton said video of the fight and fatal shooting won't be available to the media or public until the McLennan County District Attorney's Office decides to release it, and that that time may not come until the investigation is much further along.
Swanton said there is currently no time frame on when the investigation may be complete, explaining that the nine men killed Sunday were more homicides than his department investigated in all of 2014. He also cited the complicated nature of the crime scene, which stretches from the interior of the restaurant to well into the parking lot.
More than 300 weapons have been recovered from Twin Peaks and the parking lot. Many were hidden throughout the restaurant, though police have not specified whether the weapons were placed there before the shooting or hidden by suspects as police responded to the chaotic scene.
Swanton specifically addressed those who have claimed online that police instigated the violence Sunday.
"Those who were involved know law enforcement did absolutely nothing to start this," Swanton said. He later said "a criminal element at Twin Peaks" started it.
Earlier this week, officials said there were 18 local police officers as well as four DPS troopers in place at the restaurant prior to a motorcycle group's event on Sunday because they were aware of the potential for violence.
And an unknown number of undercover police embeds with the motorcycle guys...
Say - where's the autopsies detailing the caliber of bullets which made the gunshot wounds? Hmmmmmmmmmmm?

No one questioned bikers coming in with sacks of flour, assuming it was 50# bags capable of hiding an AK?
Or were they hiding them in 5# bags, shoved under their jackets?

I’m sure the investigators will be out soon to inform all of America of that finding.

So, in post 113 above I ask for a link to support this statement of YOURS:
“...Dozens of bikers were sent to the hospital with stab wounds ect that obviously were not inflicted by the police....”
And YOU in post 114 provide a link and your extract of that link that says:
“18 people who were taken to hospitals with injuries that include stab and gunshot wounds. Some victims are being treated for both, he said.”
So your “dozens of bikers...with stab wounds” morphs into some unknown subset of 18 people (three?, two?, one?, maybe even none?)
And you get this from your linked AP article whose first sentence is: “A shootout among rival motorcycle gangs at a popular Central Texas restaurant left nine bikers dead and 18 injured, and it sent panicked patrons and bystanders fleeing for safety, a police spokesman said Sunday....” quoting a police spokesman who made NO reference to the police being involved in the “shoot out” (and perhaps SOLELY a one-sided police shooting).
I’m sorry, but you need to work on YOUR critical thinking skills. Understand when a source (AP) has an agenda and is trying to mislead folks into believing a certain narrative. ONLY police are releasing information and the almost two hundred “bikers” are unable to respond and are being held under $1 million dollar bonds each. These people are almost certainly NOT on welfare, all likely have jobs (and/or they may be retired) which they may lose and family responsibilities.
Don’t be gullible...you are being propagandized and herded like a sheep. And you are blindly going wherever you are being herded.
