Common Core teaches kids to 'divide Jerusalem' [Joel 3]

A Boston University professor has defended to WND his creation of a Common Core-compliant lesson plan that uses role-playing workshops to teach students to sympathize with Hamas, create a Palestinian state and divide the city of Jerusalem.

Professor Carl Hobert’s “Whose Jerusalem?” project has been lauded by those at the pinnacle of the education establishment as an important work that will, in the words of Boston University School of Education Dean Hardin Coleman, “help students acquire the skills they need” in conflict resolution “to be successful in the 21st century.”

But the role-playing exercises have also come under fire recently from pro-Israel groups. One group, Boston-based Americans for Peace and Tolerance headed by Charles Jacobs, released a 27-minute documentary film last month that derides Hobert’s project as an “attempt to indoctrinate” rather than educate.

The role-playing games where students pretend to represent Arab, Israeli or American interests have been used in hundreds of high schools across America, Hobert told WND. Last year, the program was added to the Common Core-approved list of curricula and received Race to the Top funding from the U.S. Department of Education. The workshop is presented in many schools as part of a “global education” initiative, which is a strong focus of Common Core-compliant curricula...

The United States of America is conspicuously absent from virtually all prophetic scriptures except scriptures dealing with "all nations". The prophet Joel spoke of a future event in which all the nations of the world send armed forces against Israel...

American children are being indoctrinated by Islam sympathizing liberals. They are learning to identify and sympathize with Islamic Terror organizations like HAMAS, a radical terror group committed to the destruction of Israel (and all Jews and Christians for that matter). Our young ones are being prepared for slaughter, for God Himself reveals what will happen when the world unites in opposition to Him and His plan for the few Jews who survived the holocaust and built a life for themselves in their native homeland...

Too bad this so called University Professor obviously flunked World History. The UN divided up Palestine (it was known by this name at this time) back in 1947 and the Palestinians were offered half of Israel. Israel accepted the terms, the Palestinians refused, they wanted ALL OF ISRAEL and told the Arab people to leave their homes and in a week when the Arabs had pushed all the Israeli people into the sea, then the Arabs who left their homes could come back to not only their homes but also take the vacated Israeli homes. However, GOD ALMIGHTY had other plans. According to the Book of Genesis, GOD gave the land of Israel to the Jewish people, from the great river in Egypt (the Nile) to the great river Euphrates (in Iraq). I guess that is another lecture that the wonderful professor skipped out on.
