The dystopian images of Fury Road depart significantly from the Mad Max films of the 1970s and 1980s. Fury Road presents us with a world where motherhood is commodified to suit an elite class of males who wish to share their property and life ambitions only with other men. Women are hooked up to machines that pump milk from their breasts and held inside dismal barracks, gestating heirs for warlords who show no sexual interest in women. The men of this warrior ruling class derive all their ecstasy from the company of muscular young males eager to labor and soldier for each other and for their male patrons.
I doubt anyone on the production team has read Breeders: How Gay Men Destroyed the Left. Hence I am left to conclude that the movies pretext embodies everything that anti-gay opponents of surrogacy such as myself have been warning, because there is a deep-seated but suppressed anxiety running rampant in Hollywood about just how horrible our society will become if gay men are uncritically awarded everything they demand.
The male body is reduced to its muscularity and force, the female body to its breasts and capacity for birth. The elitists who run the Citadel have decided to keep these two objectified classes separate, in precisely the way that mainstream gay culture segregates gay men from lesbians, and both from the heterosexual masses who depend on male-female cooperation to found families and populate the nation.
A number of conservatives have been puzzled by the lefts simultaneous defense of gay men and Islamists. The cognitive dissonance might belie a deeper coherence: both Islamists and gay men aspire to separate men from women, albeit in different realms, to the noted benefit of men and to the obvious rejection of women as autonomous beings with dignity/rights.

Sometimes a movie is just a movie.
Well that would explain the viciousness. And their super snappy uniforms.
“...I understand Mad Max is not a major character.”
That is incorrect. He is a major character.
The movie didn’t go into lesbianism, though definitely into the commodification of women.
The over the top part was the SPOILER ALERT Furiosa’s childhood feminist enclave of many mothers, and the old feminists who rescue the younger breeders and end up facilitating the liberation of all the women and egalitarian distribution of the water.
That’s a great article by Prager. Even though it was posted back in April, I’m going to post it again...it’s that important.
...one long chase.....
So was Apocalypto and that movie rocked.
Excellent article. I’ve read it before and then forgot who wrote it and what the actual title was. Thanks for posting it here. This time I’m going to remember where to find it. It s an important piece of argument in the defense of Western Culture.
Funny, I saw the movie as a smackdown against Islamic culture. I guess there was something for everyone in it.
Thanks! Wonderful article - reminds me I should listen to his radio show more often.
Admission:> I post it to every thread for which it is relevant. Every conservative should read it. One would think that iberals should read it. too, but for them it would simply not make sense. They believe the world can be whatever they want it to be if they can just make everybody think as they do, either by convincing everyone or by reducing the population to those that think as they do.
Isn’t gayfar the long range version? ;-P
Members of the Gestapo were once called to Gertrude Stein’s Paris apartment to appropriate her Picassos and other priceless art. She was behind the Vichy line at the time. Neighbors found that they had no interest in the paintings; they were too busy trying on Alice B. Toklas’s exotic couture.
Just more info to make me NOT want to see it even if someone gave me the dvd for free. Sounds like it has way to many social/political overtones. I just wanted to see an action movie that had some cool futuristic vehicles and killed a few people in new and exciting ways .....and I like Tom Hardy (I think).

That assertion is a load of manure. Sex is, and the sexes are, a product of natural selection which empowered species with greater reproductive fitness.
An Individual does not have to subscribe to Biblical literalism in order to observe the self-evidently cancerous nature of demoralization within a self-worshiping culture.
Don’t let people who haven’t seen the movie convince you from not seeing it. The action is awesome, the stunts are amazing and there is nothing gay about the movie whatsoever.
If you only see entertainment that expressly, specifically exalts God, then you will be disappointed.
Disclaimers: I go to the movies about once a year cuz most of them look just awful.
He wasn’t born, he was hatched.
Yes, there was no ambiguity about who were the good guys and who the bad guys in the original film.
Holywierd really, really hates Mel Gibson for them to totally trash the franchise like this.
