Bullets ricocheted around the parking lot of Twin Peaks, the Waco restaurant where a motorcycle gang shootout left nine dead, just minutes after Theron Rhoten pulled in on his vintage Harley chopper for a regional motorcycle club meeting, according to Rhotens wife. Katie Rhoten told The Associated Press that her husband ran for cover and was later arrested, along with antique motorcycle enthusiast friends and other nonviolent, noncriminal people. Authorities swept up around 170 bikers who had descended on the restaurant for what one club member described as a gathering to discuss laws protecting motorcycle riders.... McLennan County Sheriff Parnell McNamara and Waco police Sgt. W. Patrick Swanton declined to comment Tuesday on allegations that innocent bikers were arrested.

There is no comparison between the sustained mass violence and attacks and arson and looting in those long time running riots, and this parking lot incident that happened in Waco in a matter of minutes, and which we still don’t know anything about.
Thank you for not moving to Texas.
carry on and take the ‘winter walks’
If one were to read 100 AP articles, one would think America is 100% communist : )
yes, but they would find yours and my words aren’t and then the sudden wind would blow cold ... (smiles) Stephen!
” Note that no such free fire zone is postulated at the border which features real criminal gangs using real automatic weapons to commit real serious felonies on a scale unheard of in American history.”
Noted!
No cops injured. All of the mug shots of the arrested that I’ve seen so far showed no injuries, and I’d think there would be some bruised up faces...Phones all confiscated... I am thinking this was a police ambush. I can’t believe there are people who give cops a free pass, no matter what they do.
America is made for me and you and on this road ... Will you miss ‘law’?
There will always be a mix of 1%-ers and ‘regular’ bikers at such a meeting. It has nothing to do with outlaw gangs using respectable clubs as “cover”. COC is about any/all interested bikers/motorcyclists of all types and backgrounds getting together to discuss common interests and common problems.
For several decades COC meetings all over the country have been ‘neutral ground’ and everyone left their fights, grudges and vendettas at the door when attending them.
I'm not sure what happened in Waco on Sunday: maybe one or more Bandidos (or one or more Cossacks) simply violated the ‘neutral ground’ tradition, or maybe some hot-shot undercover cock, I mean cop, started a fight. Regardless of what initiated the trouble, something like this happening at a COC meeting is a VERY unusual occurrence.
And, of course, there is the fact that most of the dead were killed by the police. Maybe bikers just aren't as good at killing each other as they're given credit for.
...
By the way, do you have a source for the claim that the Cossacks are an H.A. affiliate? I have not heard that before.
I never missed being away from Home ... I lied! I miss Home!
“I have seen them act as patriot- i have a feeling when TSHTF it is going to be bikers and marines joining forces to defeat the gaystapo in the military”
Totally agree. I know bikers that accompany fallen soldiers home and to their final resting place.
personally think it’s two million to them ....
I know. It’s kind of scary.
I thought I was among friends here, for the most part.
With Obama trying to take over the police departments all over the country, I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t a setup of some type by undercover agents and it got out of hand. The first Waco incident should never have happened. The ATF could have easily arrested David Koresh on one of his many trips outside of the compound.
the Moon of Forever is where one keeps one Satisfied?
I’m pretty sure it’s the Scimitars who are being patched over to the Cossacks.
Cossacks and Bandidos have apparently been warring for quite a while.
I am no fan of the cops. I used to be 10-15 years ago, but not these days. SWAT teams armed to the gills, in little towns, with little crime. “No knock” warrants. And more and more cops caught doing criminal acts. Ping me when it is NOT an AP story.
: )
“I cant believe there are people who give cops a free pass, no matter what they do.”
Cops and their friends, family and “benevolent” associations are a large powerful bloc for whom cops never lie and can always be trusted, even when the facts don’t support their words and actions.
Unfortunately accounts for a lot of people here.
Good point. Criminals can't get, and don't need, concealed carry permits.
” The ATF could have easily arrested David Koresh on one of his many trips outside of the compound.”
At least once a day they could have grabbed him.
