John Kasich is virtually certain to jump into the race for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination, sources close to the Ohio governor tell ABC News.
Kasich has said his wife and daughters have given him a green light to run and in recent days Kasich has told his political advisors to begin preparing for a likely campaign. Kasich travels to New Hampshire in early June and recently did a fundraising trip to California. If he makes the final decision to run, he will make the announcement in late June or July.

lol
They all have one of those!
The government is a farce! Idiots and/or traitors.
New comers watch how (just to name a couple) the Clintons and Obamas get away with all that shouldn’t be.
Lawmakers should be allowed only what the citizens are allowed. Any money they get is a bribe in my book!
Since humanity has taken the wrong road, that will never happen.
Choosing someone because they are a Governor rather than a Senator is similar to identity politics.
One doesn’t go by title - one should evaluate their ideas, their ideals and values, their beliefs and their abilities.
Go Ted!
They all have two, they talk through. :)
I’m more on the “it’s already a farce” bandwagon but, at a minimum, “turning into” is true.
This is a disastrous joke. There is NOTHING good that will come from all these candidates. The debates ... I can’t even think about it.
If you wanted to minimize Cruz' debate advantage, how would you do it?
Ted is very much admired. They will go all in to take votes away from him.
I believe there has been a leftist push to get as many running on the right as possible. May be subtle, but I’d bet they have a hand in it.
Kasich is essential to Jeb’s plans. He needs Kasich to peel away enough “state pride” votes in the Ohio primary to lower the winning percentage for the Establishment in this important Winner Take All primary.
Kasich will be rewarded the Veep slot on the (losing) ticket.
I guess most people who will run are either full of themselves, or realize just by running, they can increase their chances to get wealthier.
Excellent point.
You KNOW the GOPe loves this. Because at a brokered Convention, only the GOPe wins and we get the grand moron Jeb.
Each candidate will have 20 seconds to respond to questions...for the entire debate!
Graham is running for the same reason. To lower the winning percentage in the early S.C. primary by peeling away “state pride” votes.
Kasich and Graham will drop out after they have served their purposes.
Huckabee will stay in longer because he is needed to peel away evangelical votes in each state.
The end game is winning by percentages. Recall that Romney only won 27% of the overall vote in the 2012 primaries. 6% to Huckabee, 10% in Ohio to Kasich, 15% in S.C. to Graham and suddenly The Jebster sweeps the delegates with 27% of the tally in Ohio and the same in S.C.
Easy, only white men will be recognized and invited by the media so that the Left can decry the lack of diversity on the Right.
A less gay version of Lindsey Graham.
Yes, probably something like this since Kasich and Graham are both GOPe. The only ones in it that might sound a bit different are Cruz and Paul, the rest will be reading from the same script.
You got it exactly right. The Cheap Labor Express is financing as many candidates as it takes to make sure we cannot elect anyone who might stop the invasion/cheap labor importation/colonization.
Jebster is the designated loser this cycle.
If they can’t drag Jebster over the line, they’ll settle for Rubio.
As long as they prevent a conservative from winning.
Kasich and Graham a total waste of time and money.
We could have used Kasich in 2012.
John is flat on his feet and feeble minded these days.
