In fact, there were stories about weapons we gave to the “moderate” rebels turning up at the Gaza border before Benghazi.
I want to know what role John McCain had in this also.

McCain and Graham. Nobody was hornier to get into Libya than they were.
The fact that they started screeching for investigations when it all went south was just for show.
You know, nobody in a position of authority ever explained what the hell Ambassador Stevens was even doing in Benghazi that day.
Well, I don't fault him, personally. He is a small man up against very big entrenched powers, and who knows what threats of violence are made against Republican office-holders and their families? You watch - there will be lines Ted Cruz will not cross, either.
The disturbing revelation from all of these investigations over the last twenty years is the clear revelation that Congress has no actual power, other than to rubber-stamp Executive decisions.
Sadly, the Republican congress is a complete joke. If they won’t do anything with a majority in both houses, one wonders how bad it would be if the GOP controlled all three branches of government. Probably complete paralysis. The Gutless Old Party is just that.
