Today Chris Wallace was at his partisan worst when he repeatedly asked Rubio an argumentative and moot question in an obvious and sustained effort to make him (Rubio) visibly angry. Good for Rubio that he didn’t take the bait. The question is “Knowing that WMD didn’t exist, was it a mistake for GWB to go to war in Iraq (Gulf II)?”. The question is based on a false premise. We know Sadam had WMD because he used it on Iranians and the Kurds. Media types fixate on the idea that large quantities were not found in the aftermath of Gulf II. Some of it was found and more important Colin Powell stated at the United Nations that the WMD could be evacuated before we get there to search for it. Gen. Powell was prescient. Rubio pointed out that no president can make decisions based on what he’s going to know in the future. It isn’t possible.
Republican reap a harvest of bogus questions because they don’t correct the false narratives fabricated by leftist mouths and press. Records need be corrected in real time.
H.J. Res. 114 (To authorize the use of United States Armed Forces against Iraq. 2002/01/23), recites a laundry list of grievances that the United States and the U.N. had against Sadam not all of them related to WMD. Sadam didn’t keep the cease fire agreement ending Gulf I, was an ongoing threat to world peace, and continued to support international terrorism.
My first thought, watching the ‘interview’ today, was - ‘this is exactly what Geo. Steph. did to the author of “Clinton Cash”!’ What is going on?
I lost respect today for Chris Wallace - along with all so called “journalists” in the MSM!

I thought he did a pretty good job, all things considered. There are only at most nine states that matter and only at this point, three candidates who can win the nomination. Unlike Hillary, Rubio speaks Spanish, and unlike Jeb, he does not support Commn Core, have a wife who tried to cheat customs out of thousands of dollars for imported designer clothes, have a drug-addict daughter, or a son who beats up girlfriend’s former boyfriends. Florida is a MUST WIN state, which Wisconsin is not. His only flaw is amnesty, and that he can still correct.

I couldn't agree more. Wallace was WAY out of line. It actually made Rubio look good, made him look like he could think fast on his feet, and made him look unflappable. While I don't get his position on amnesty, I at least respect his push-back against the absolutely embarrassing line of questioning from a "gotcha" interviewer. Wallace should be ashamed.

On NBC News tonight, Savannah Guthrie led with Rubio’s supposed inability to answer the question. I thought he gave a sensible, clear answer in the face of an obnoxious Chris Wallace’s desperate attempt to create a gaffe where none existed. Chris created a meme where none had existed for Savannah to run with. I expect the meme will spread through the morning and late night shows.
Chris Matthews is a moron and would not know WMD if they were shoved up his butt.
Wallace morphed into a cheesy gotcha lame beltway hack.
