In a pretty foul mood, to be honest. Many of us have abandoned this thread at this point. Rush just cannot help himself re: DeflateGate and his First Love, the NFL. It's becoming downright disturbing. (See comments above)

My Boston Bruins gave fans probably the worst season in decades. They appeared to sleep-walk through the entire season. They deserve to be sitting home as I type this.
The Lightning, especially Ben Bishop and Stephen Stamkos, have been incredible this year.
We're rooting for the NY Rangers at this point (sorry!). We cheer on the local AHL team, the Hartford Wolf Pack.. farm team of the NY Rangers. I tend to switch allegiance whenever the Providence Bruins (AHL, Boston Bruins) come to town, though.. ;-)
I know I am trying to listen to him, but I’m not sure what is happening. I guess he know that Dictator Barack Obama I is trying to suppress free speech and talk radio with cooperation with the RINOs.

I missed the show until 15 minutes after the second hour started. It sounds like I didn’t miss a thing. He’s talking GOPe failed strategies illustrated by the Dauphin.
This is what I want him to speak about.
There are so many issues that could be discussed, it is almost too hard to select one, since so many are harbingers of a Republic in decline.
I am at a loss to know why the world is today the way it is, since so much of it make no logical sense.
It makes me stay at home and bang my own drum when I should be finding a band to join.

I was a big Hartford Whalers fan back in the day, but.. they're gone. And have been gone for decades. So I'm over it. Many bitter Whalers fans still aren't over it.. yes, I know that some hate the Wolf Pack. Whatever.
I've always been a Bobby Orr fan, so I guess I naturally gravitated back to the Original Six Boston Bruins...

Glad the Rangers won last night. They had to fight their way back. Their fame team is doing well also.
I hope when Bettman retires, the next commissioner will figure out the Florida Panthers doesn’t draw and neither does Arizona. And Hartford will get back their team that was stolen from them.
I can’t stand the Rangers or the Wolfoack. When Carolina plays the Lightning, we wear Hartford Whalers jerseys to the game. We aren’t the only ones either.
I'm guessing that many people who left the north and midwest to settle in Florida still maintain their allegiances to their MLB teams, but maybe have newly discovered the NHL and the Tampa Bay Lightning?
I’m not sure if the Rangers will have their farm team in Hartford after next year. Gosh, am I on the Whalers zforum or the Boneyard.com?
I highly doubt there will ever be another NHL team in Hartford again. Hartford is a sad shell of its former self. They hardly draw attendance for Wolf Pack games. The biggest seat-filler are $1 beer and hot dog Friday Nights. Sad.
