The worst part for her husband was getting “pocket calls” all day long.
Can you hear me now?
Was the doctor, the Joker?
“The worst part for her husband was getting pocket calls all day long.”
And the lost opportunity was not making the number public.
People are getting zombified with these friggin’ phones! TURN IT OFF AND PAY ATTENTION to what you’re doing!!!
There is an app for that.
“Hanan, your stomach is playing ‘Für Elisa’.”
So when is the due date for the Mobile Phone delivery?
Exactly, I don’t care for smart phones or I phones or whatever. I do have small Tracfone for emergency when I’m on the road. Land line at home (I know, I’m still living in the dark ages).
I forgot, in fact this morning I was picking up a friend and there was a busy intersection (with no lights) with a bunch of college kids crossing. It was my turn to make a right but I stopped because there was a female just standing there texting. I was not sure if she was going to cross or not, she was just totally focus on her phone texting away. So I gradually proceeded forward to make a right turn when suddenly she just move forward fast and hit the crosswalk and I immediately braked.
Many do not pay attention - many do not bother to look up or in front of them, and that is scarey.
Depending on where exactly it is inside her, and if it’s set to “vibrate” - just calling the number may give her a thrill.
If you’re Dark Ages, I must be prehistoric: landline; and hand-held CBs for traveling.
Caller ID, but no call-waiting; no answering machine. Either they’ll call back if there’s a busy signal or no answer; and I can see if it’s a junk call or not.
Jordanian private hospitals suck! Hate to see what goes on in the public ones.
Just yesterday I was crossing the parking lot into the store. A car was coming down the lane and I wasn’t sure they were going to stop. A gal on her cell phone was walking right into it’s path too. I yelled “Careful!” and she stopped - but the driver did too. They were about 4 feet from each other.
A few months ago I was all worried about my daughter walking out in the street with her phone. “I know daaaaaddddd.”
Now that she’s driving I keep telling her to watch out for idiot pedestrians.
WHAT??!!
Don’t you hate when that happens?
Are we sure it wasn’t the kids’ phone?
I guess the doc is lucky he left it inside just half a person.
