George Zimmerman was involved in a shooting incident in Lake Mary on Monday afternoon, according to Lake Mary Police Chief Steve Bracknell.
The shooting involved two men and happened on Lake Mary Boulevard, police said.
Officers at the scene said it appeared Zimmerman suffered a minor gunshot wound, Bracknell said.
In January, Zimmerman was accused of assault by his girlfriend, but no charges were filed after she recanted her allegation.
He was also arrested in November 2013 on domestic violence allegations after his girlfriend called police. His girlfriend later recanted her story and charges were never filed.
Zimmerman was acquitted in the shooting death of Trayvon Martin in 2013.

Do you know anything about anything? Mr. Zimmerman worked at mortgage company and supported his family until he was wrongly accused of murder when he defended himself against that young hoodlum, just as Officer Wilson defended himself against the strong-arm robber.

I think some here in 5 years will say “who? That name sounds familiar.” The reason is that Darren Wilson has been respectful and kept himself out of the media and of course any kind of girl friend troubles or wife troubles if married.”
And both lost their jobs. However one decided to act like an adult and the other decided to be a media sensation. In five years, we will be saying Darren Wilson? Who is that? In five years, we will STILL be hearing about Zimmerman and his many altercations with attention.

Wonderful. Too bad he has done a 180 and decided to become a victim seeking attention. If he could just be like Darren Wilson, his life would be so much better off. As Conservatives, we should try and emulate Darren Wilson and not some attention seeker.

Nope.....but he is the top twitter discussion and Facebook discussion and he loves it. His brother is out there tweeting too. I wonder if they saw that the twitter action was getting lower and needed something to change that. Well it worked. The news is on every channel. They are loving this.
The POTUS spoke out against him. The U.S. AG investigated him and in spite of no findings against him from the DoJ the AG says he will continue to investigate him. U.S. Congressmen have spoken against him in the well of the House. Rick Santorum publically denounced him as crazy. The FL governor assigned a special prosecutor to bring charges against him. The special prosecutor did. The MSM has lied about and demonized him for nearly two years. Spike Lee tweeted his parent's address for psychos to find them. The NBPP issued dead or alive wanted posters on him. Not one LEA, prosecutor or politician in the country condemned that giving the impression that his assassination has been officially sanctioned. He's a quarter million dollars in debt.
And those are just the high points.
I don’t doubt anything you said. And I have felt all along he needs to move and leave all of his ills behind, start over. Keep his head down.
But, his behavior since what happened does not negate the fact that he was being railroaded in the Martin shooting. Period.
And your silly comments don’t help.
Let me get this straight, a guy is shot at by someone, and does not fire a shot, is the “bad guy” here. Seems to me the shooter would have some explaining to do, at a minimum. Seems to me the shooter is some kind of deranged white guy...probably listens to MSNBC.
