After years of these stories, you'd think I could no longer be shocked. But, this is just sickening.

I suspect race has nothing to do with it. The DEA would have seized the cash regardless of race.

Government is out of control. Don’t blame Whitey for this.

This story has been posted before.
While the DEA has no business taking this guys cash, it’s hard to believe he was carrying that much without being armed.
99.9% probability that he was a drug mule and the cash was the proceeds of illegal activity.
The lesson here is that there is nor criminal organization more large or more powerful than the Federal Government under the leadership of Hussein Obama.
These DEA crooks at least were racist enough to target the black guy and steal some drug money for themselves, instead of targeting a tourist or something.

Sounds RACIST to me.
Our Black friend should file a RACIAL DISCRIMINATION lawsuit.
I don't care what color you are, the DEA, or anyone else, have NO GROUNDS to seize your money or anything else from you if you are NOT arrested and charged with a crime.

Yes and what a coinkydink that a guy had 16 large on him and other guys just decided to nose around where he was.
They knew the money was there. And they knew they could take it without any supporting evidence beyond it’s mere presence.

Cops can confiscate cash from anyone any time. If it includes a hundred dollar bill the Peace Officers can actually prove that it was used in an illegal transaction and that is all that is required to keep the bill and any money associated with it. Volusia County Florida financed for a few years, and maybe still does, much of its government by highway stops of elderly retirees going south in their Caddilacs and Lincolns with their life savings in cash to buy condos in sunny South Florida. I don't think any of them has got his money back. If the old couple does not have the money with them in cash, whatever other cash they have was confiscated. It is all good according to Federal Law.
Actually if the police find a hundred dollar bill in the car they can confiscate the car, too, and jewelry and anything else they find that they can convert into cash. I haven't heard of it going further in Volusia than the cash, though.

I’m sorry, but those government thugs are nothing but criminals with badges, and deserve nothing but a bullet, just like any other thief.
