Natalie Portman Set To Play Ruth Bader Ginsburg In New Biopic
Ben Jacobs 8 May 2015 Natalie Portman has played rebels, ballerinas, the Queen of England and Luke Skywalker’s mother but now she looks set to take on her most intimidating role yet: “the Notorious RBG”. Deadline reported on Friday afternoon that Portman had signed on to play supreme court justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in a biopic about the life of the octogenarian jurist.
The movie, entitled On the Basis of Sex, will focus on Ginsberg’s career, including her position leading the Women’s Rights Project, where she litigated landmark cases in front of the supreme court two decades before being appointed to it. In this role, Ginsburg played a crucial part in establishing that the equal protection clause of the 14th amendment applied to gender.

She’s always been on the Darkside.
Her horrible acting and the horrible scrips are what made me quit watching the newer starwars. Simply awful and way too much CGI.
Ginsburg once testified before Congress telling them that it unfair that only women had babies, and that we needed to rectify that through legislation. She is a treasonous demonic crone.
It’s on my bucket list, only substitute ‘f’ for ‘b’.

Natalie has a very high IQ, so I’ve heard. Shes attractive but getting older for Hollywood standards, so Natalie wants to show she can be a real actress of a certain age, sort of like Meryl Streep, or Angelina Jolie who has moved into directing and producing films. I forgive Natalie for not being quite ready to appreciate Bibis greatness,as I do.
The words “sex” and “Ruth Bader Ginsburg” should never be used in the same story.
She was getting out in front to establish her liberal bona fides.
And the pictures here are almost just as bad.
LOL I was thinking almost the same thing: is it even possible to ugly down Natalie that much.
Isn’t Ruth Buzzi available?
They should get the actor who played Dobie in the Harry Potter movies instead, since Ruth Buzzi is dead.
She’s about 100 years too young.
Hope they don’t expect me to pay to see it. Not going to happen.
