Obama: Illegals ‘Are Americans Just Like Our Kids, Except They Don’t Have the Right Documents’

(CNSNews.com) - President Barack Obama said at a fundraiser in Portland, Ore., yesterday that young foreign nationals who are in the United States illegally but on whose behalf he has decided not to enforce the immigration law are “Americans just like our kids, except they don’t have the right documents.”

“We still got to make sure we get comprehensive immigration reform passed in this country,” Obama said . “ I couldn’t be prouder of the work that we’ve done through executive actions to make sure that our young DREAMers--young people who were brought here as children and are Americans just like our kids, except they don’t have the right documents--the notion that we would be keeping them in the shadows made no sense.

“But we’ve got to solve that larger problem, and only Congress can do that,” Obama said. “And you’ve got some great members of Congress who understand that. Now, we’ve got to get all members of Congress to understand that--and we’ve got to get that thing passed. It’s the right thing to do. It’s good for our economy--and it upholds our tradition as a nation of laws and a nation of immigrants.”

But what if we don’t want those kids? What if I drove by the WH and dropped off 10 of my children for you to take care of over the weekend while I went and partied? No way you’d take care of those kids yourself. All your nannies would have the children as you walked out the door to hit the links. No Doofus Oblahblah, they're not like our kids. Our kids were raised to respect America and its laws. Our kids were vaccinated. Our kids who have grown are now working and paying taxes, buying cars and paying for insurance. Our kids either worked their way through College, were lucky enough to obtain scholarships or were blessed with parents who could afford to send them there. Our kids speak English and if interested, learned to speak other languages, as well. Our kids are scraping together measly salaries to live on their own because they're being strapped with the bill to pay for YOUR importation of illegals and the burdens they bring with them.

Last time I checked, there isn't a mass exodus of American kids to another Country where they're being handed free educations, housing, SNAP benefits and EBT cards.
