Murder charges against Freddie Gray cops may be DROPPED because police findings don't support the case, say officials

Baltimore City State Attorney charged six officers over death of Gray Separate police probe of case says manslaughter is most serious crime Defense lawyers are arguing that arrest for knife possession was legal 'If this case falls apart, will Baltimore burn?' one official asked

The murder charges filed against the Baltimore officers who arrested Freddie Gray could be dropped, because the police investigation into his death doesn't support the prosecution's case, it's been reported.

Last Friday, Baltimore City State's Attorney Marilyn Mosby levelled charges ranging from assault to second-degree murder at six police officers involved in Gray's death. He had suffered a fatal spinal injury while in police custody.

However, officials familiar with the case have revealed that police investigators do not agree with the charges. The murder charges filed against the Baltimore officers who arrested Freddie Gray could be dropped

The officials said that the internal probe team do not believe a charge more serious than manslaughter should be brought against any of the officers, according to CNN. RELATED ARTICLES

What's more, defense lawyers are mounting a challenge to Mosby's assertion that the officers had unlawfully arrested Gray because the knife he had in his pocket is considered legal under Maryland state law.

Marc Zayon, the attorney for Edward Nero, one of the officers charged, argued in a motion filed Monday that the knife in Gray's pocket — described in charging documents as 'a spring assisted, one hand operated knife' — is in fact illegal under state law.

They have to have a Probable Cause hearing within 30 days of the filing or a grand jury. If the judge rules as he should on the knife being illegal, most of the charges are going away. If she insists on proceeding with this ridiculous charge of 2nd degree murder, she Loses.

When the start trying to do their evil in the suburbs and the homeowners realize that the police will not be allowed to protect their property or their families things will take a different turn.

The mob only knows that the prosecutor told them the offices are guilty -- including that one officer is guilty of murder, and that all will be punished severely (which the mob will settle for nothing less than long prison terms and life for the already-pronounced-guilty murderer).

When the child prosecutor doesn't deliver, the savages ... er, I mean thugs ... oops, I mean "dis-enfranchised youths" will again loot and burn and attack the police.

Someone’s paying CVS to rebuild. I can’t believe they would do it willingly.

on the basis that the evidence doesnt support the charge...happens all the time, and will happen in this case i believe. If a knife was found, there goes the false imprisonment charges...the assualt charges...remember, these are cops.. they have the legal right to do what they did. Unless they got proof one of those cops beat this guy, these charges will never stand.

Prosecutor threw every charge she could think of at the police but seems to have dropped the kitchen sink on her own foot.

I didn’t watch that trial. Wish I had. This prosecutor is the biggest affirmative action disaster I have ever seen.

sorry, but iv’e never heard of a prosecutor having the only say about the merit of criminal charges, Again,,these are police officers. they have more legal authority than the average person, thats why they are “sworn” in. Rememebr the K ent State shootings? Guardsman shot and killed 4 unarmed “protestors”...and not a single one was ever even charged. In fact, about 50 protestors were indicted...hard to convict cops...just the way it is.

You came to the same conclusion that I did. Heroin in large doses causes dfficulty breathing, convulsions, heart attack, loss of consciousness, and coma. Gray had every one of those symptoms. Convulsions in the back of the van and injury consistent with a bolt in the back of the van. Not hard to connect the dots.

What you state I believe is now at issue. There has been a propaganda war against the people of the United States since about 1936. The war has been directed against all aspects of American culture such as patriotism, Christianity, abortion, race, nationalism you name it. From what I see white people as a result of the intense daily propaganda have become disorganized, leaderless, fearful and demoralized even to the point of being unable to defend themselves and their friends and family. One frowning negro stamps his foot and thousands of whites run screaming in abject terror.(See the fairs in Iowa of a few years ago.)

I’m not surprised that Sharpton doesn’t like Hillary.

No. I support the Constitution and so should they.
