At a luxury Miami hotel last month, one of Jeb Bushs chief strategists stood before hundreds of top GOP fundraisers to deliver an unsubtle message: The former Florida governor will not be one of the presidents of August.
During his closed-door presentation at the 1 Hotel in South Beach, Mike Murphy dismissed buzz-fueled candidates who rise fast early only to flame out once the primaries begin. Murphy ridiculed the early spate of presidential polls many of which show Bush lagging, particularly in Iowa as noise meters. And he insisted that the Bush team is patiently playing a long game, one that will not be upended by the actions of his rivals.
Murphys talk was aimed in part at quieting pockets of anxiety that have been percolating among Bush supporters who are beginning to worry whether he can excite Republicans in the same way that many of his younger rivals are already doing.

Jeb? Hell yes!
like, about 2017
Oh yeah...
No more talk about the establishment anymore. Let our numbers overwhelm them in the caucuses and primaries next year.

His best hope is we all die from dehydration!
America isn’t ready for a President with no jawline.
It seems that the last several election cycles the popular choice of the people loses the nomination to "Big Money" choice and they eventually lose the election, no matter how easy the slam dunk. This time "Big Money" is apparently backing Jebbie, but I really wish they'd get behind someone the people want (and it ain't Jebbie!).
They got it back assward... it should read "It's already TOO LATE to PEAK."
I'm enjoying sending money to the Cruz campaign. I really look forward to someone that I want to vote for.

A rare pleasure!
Hillary is going to win the contest for peaking late. She’s peaking at age 70!
You illustrate what to me is Jeb’s biggest problem. He made enemies from his time as governor, and has not differentiated himself enough on issues of import today to not also get his brother’s enemies.
Where Bush takes positions on issues of import to me, he seems to oppose me. So why should I vote for him?
This is called: “whistling past the graveyard”. They don’t seem to understand that the political coffin contains Jeb.
