Ted Wells' investigation into the possibility that the New England Patriots were involved in deflating footballs for the AFC championship game has found that it's more likely than not some of the Patriots were guilty.
"Based on the evidence developed in connection with the investigation and summarized in this Report, we have concluded that it is more probable than not that New England Patriots personnel participated in violations of the NFL Playing Rules and were involved in a deliberate attempt to circumvent those rules," the report, released Wednesday, said.
With that line on Page 121 of the massive report, it again questions the validity of the Patriots' great dynasty, which included a Super Bowl victory this past February, the fourth for coach Bill Belichick and quarterback Tom Brady.

Yes, and they do nothing about it.
In playoff games, note how well the Patriots play at home and how poorly they play away from home.
“Looser always look for a reason ... “
Begging the question AND circular argument.
The charge(s) is/are made that the Patriots cheat to win. Serious charges for most sports fans. Clearing throat, that is, honest fans/
Like a guy getting caught at the table with an ace up his sleeve, Patriots’ fans reply, “You’re just sore losers.”.
Ohkayy. As Hillary might agree, “What difference does it make?” Let’s just move along ... nothing to see here.
Yea, Brady likes the balls underinflated!
I see it as having too much rosin on the bat. Not the end of the world.
But the e-mails from the ball boy indicate that the deflation was intentional, and undoubtedly Brady was giving the order. He'll probably be suspended for a game or two.
What nobody can come up with is a good reason for it to be against the rules. The Pats have an amazing ability to find rules that make people wonder who got paid to write that stupid thing.
As a Steeler fan I’d love to see Brady suspended for the first game of the year. Though as a general football that feels kind of retarded.
If you ain’t cheatin’ you ain’t trying. And you ain’t winning. There’s rules and there’s nanny state BS. Why is there even a standard on football pressure? So the girls can play? It doesn’t matter how much air is in the ball being caried by the dumbass that I’m going to put the wood to. But the air is going to leave his balloon for a few seconds. And If a QB has time to mull over the fine touch/texture of pigskin then I’m giving him too much time to work on the details.
Well, after the NFL career he can always become a NASCAR driver.....................;^)
I’ve been pretty sure it was intentional from the git-go. I may not know football, but being a man, I know the heart of man. ;-)
Not Belicheat?
***There is no proof of anything***
Thanks, Hillary.
Piles of circumstantial evidence but since nobody will fess up to doing it and there were no witnesses it can’t be proven.
If the temperature is decreased and the football is wet the pressure of the air in the football will drop.

In the second half of the game in question the Patriots scored 28 unanswered points after the footballs were inflated.
The “investigation” had to justify their time(four months) and expense. They just said “more probable than not” when giving their opinions.

I don’t care if he threw for 1000 yards.... that has nothing to do with going outside the rules to try to gain an unfair advantage. Isn’t that what the guys who get suspended for PEDs do? Can you prove they actually got an unfair advantage?

Yeah, you’re right. What the NFL wanted was to brand a future Hall of Famer AND one of their premiere franchises as cheaters. They’ve done it before..... what makes you think they’re not doing it this time?
You’re no different than the Clintonistas who turn a blind eye to what they do.

So then why didn’t that happen with the Colts balls.... did the weather only affect the Patriots sideline?
Before you make a fool of yourself any further you might actually try reading the report. You can actually start at the bottom of Page 44 like I did and read about 6 or 7 pages. That ought to be enough to turn off the crocodile tears.

Warning, lots of language... to be expected with Boston area text conversations. Even ordering soup usually has 3-4 expletives.
I think the Patriots are a great team. I could care less about this. Brady is the best Quarterback in football history with Joe Montana. He will survive this witch hunt. Jealousy over a Republican Football Player is the reason they even wasted a penny over this.
What’s a Pat, and what difference does it make?
