* Arkansas evangelical politician played hardball with early jabs at primary competitors
* Hit Cruz for signing up for Obamacare, Paul for trying to run for Senate and President at the same time, and Bush for being part of a political 'dynasty'
* Tech glitches plagued Huckabee's rollout, including a campaign website that flickered and failed and C-SPAN audio that went haywire
* Slogans include 'Hope to Higher Ground' and the Eisenhower-throwback line 'I Like Mike'
Former Arkansas Gov. Mike Huckabee threw the first punches on Tuesday against other Republican presidential candidates, ending a brief spring of comity among conservatives who all want the chance to oppose Hillary Clinton in the 2016 general election.
Huckabee, an ordained Baptist minister, elbowed Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush without naming them and threw in a shot at Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton for good measure.
Less than 90 minutes after Cruz issued a welcoming message of respect, 'Huck' lashed out at him for a plan to put his family on Affordable Care Act-sanctioned medical insurance after years of railing against the Obamacare plan.
'Instead of helping families find affordable health care, we created a monster that forces us to buy coverage we don't want, don't need, and can't afford,' Huckabee told a crowd gathered in his hometown of Hope, Arkansas. 'And imagine members of Congress boasting they will fight to repeal Obamacare and then turning around and signing up for it!'
Cruz had extended a different kind of gesture earlier in the morning, naming all three Republicans who officially threw their hats into the ring in a stretch of just 28 hours
'The entry of three more candidates into the 2016 GOP primary this week is terrific news for our party...

I agree.
A while back, Cruz explained his reasons for signing up for 0vomitcare. They made perfect sense to me. If Huck wants to criticize, he needs to explain why those reasons don’t make sense to him.
Most of us, like Cruz, have been railing against 0vomitcare since the beginning. That doesn’t mean that none of us are on it. For some, it may be their best option. Personally, I think ALL of our federal officials should be on it, particularly 0vomit himself. If we have to deal with it, they should, too.
Did the same thing last time he ran too.
Apparently too complicated for Huckaschmuck...
And he’ll do it the next time he runs...
He explained it’s the law that members of Congress have to be on it if they have no other insurance. He was just following the law.
Yup.
I never tire of that photo!
LOL.
“Huckabee’s pardons at issue after police killings”
He works for the Dauphin.
Imagine the present contenders all focus on hammering Huckabee and not each other. Interesting.
Huckafeller is a political whore.
I wonder where Huckster plans to build his next Mansion using the
Bush funds funneled to his latest Stalking horse run.
Cruz must be doing some serious inroads to galvanize this Vile hick to be dragged out to screw up the primaries for
the K street traitors.
He’s not even a RINO; he’s a carp—a bottom feeding scum sucker.
Way to go Gomer. Shouldn’t you be attacking the Obammunists and Clintonites instead?
Huckabee is the smartest guy in a single-wide trailer park.
“I dont like Huckabee, but I dont like Cruz or Paul or Bush either. I wish theyd all back off on the Evangelical thing and just tell us some good political or defense or tax or anti-Obamacare policies for this country.”
Cruz has said plenty on that, as well as being consistent and principled.
“CRUZ or lose! Thats my idea. No nambypamby inclusive big tent reach across the aisle garbahge, just pure solid unapologetic conservatism like Reagan believed.”
Ditto!
People are complaining about too many candidates, but I actually think thats a good thing at this point.

Fiorina, but the press hates her and has ignored and suppressed her, but now that shes announced, theyre going to try to Palinize her - meaning, make her look like a silly conservative broad who has this crazy idea that she can compete with the Dem big dogs.
.
I think you missed one....Jebbie Bush.
