Two men were shot in a parking lot outside the Curtis Culwell Center in Garland Sunday afternoon, SWAT officials told News 8.
Those men possibly had explosives on them, SWAT officials said. Everyone at the center, which was hosting a Muhammad Art exhibit, was told to find a safe place inside the building.
SWAT members were at the scene for the event.

I would expect them to have AR-15’s and tactiicial vests at a event like this. On a routine patrol in a normally safe area, not so much.
Don’t forget Pasadena and Bakersfield.
As of 7 min ago, reporter at event said the police was still trying to get people onto buses and off the site to a high school
I don’t care what the event was. That cop looks like a soldier.
Wow. I live in Mesquite, about ten miles away and had considered going to this event. Family time took precedence, however.

You are correct. What are you doing to change things? Have you stopped paying your federal taxes? Are you reading the word of G-d? Are you talking to your neighbors about salvation or politics?
