Hannity talking with anonymous cop making breaking news. Cop says Freddy tested positive for drugs, including heroin, thus supporting story by cops and the other criminal in the van that Freddy was trying to cause harm to himself. The drugs would certainly make it easier for him to do it.
Cop also says they were explicitly told not to confront looters and robbers "direct from commander."
It was reported early on that the cops had to stop and put leg cuffs on Gray. This was to keep him from standing up and moving around.
This implies that he was doing so, and the laws of physics kicked in. Even if the van took off gently, anyone standing there with hands cuffed would go horizontal and slide to the rear.
Based on your experience, what do you think is a plausible explanation for what happened? Granted, that we don’t have all the evidence yet.

I'm sure these cops are perfectly capable of severely injuring a white or Hispanic person as well, and just as liable to.
Excuse me, but aren't those mutually exclusive propositions? It sounds like you just might have a "prejudicial investment" against the cops.
I agree, otherwise there doesn’t seem to be much point in stopping to put on leg cuffs.
However, this does not make murder in the second degree, at least not to me.
“cops messing with him”
I’ve heard that in Bmore it is SOP to bring suit against the city for “rough rides”
Also - I’ve heard “again” that these vans have GPS trackers on them now because of the “rough rides” suits...
if so, that will tell the speed, stop velocity, bumps.. etc of said van...
I misspoke there.
It should have read "I'm sure certain cops are perfectly capable of severely injuring a white or Hispanic person as well, and just as liable to" and what I meant to convey was the fact that there are plenty of cops who will abuse their power, and aren't particularly discriminating about who the victim of that abuse is. I think that sort of cop is much more prevalent than the stereotypical racist ones...
I totally agree.
I thought PCP (Angel Dust)
People don’t feel the pain of injuries on it and are able to do things even though they should be incapacitated due to injuries..
Did Gray fall off his bike or get beaten up prior to being arrested ???
He could still have fallen on the bolt in the van later..
Plus he was standing up in the van not lying down or sitting down..
Not like this... but EXACTLY that.
Thank you so much for finding the picture.
According to the interview he was seen making a drug transaction; furthermore, didn't he run?
Plus has anyone explained how the othr prisoner could be in the back of the van but not see Gray ???
Was the prisoner sitting in the front or something ???are there compartments ???
Were the police concerned Gray would hurt the other man ???
I do not think the Police officers will skate I actually think the jurors will be made up of people who think the Police not just the Police officers on trial but all Police Officers are guilty of abusing and beating and jailing black men who hey feel are targeted for no reason and they will find them guilty. This is what they are led to believe by the media and politicians and people like Al Sharpton this is just my opinion.
Running isn't illegal. As for "making a drug transaction", I suppose the evidence of that will be forthcoming, unless it was just an "educated guess" by one of the cops.
Thanks or the clarification.
The van is split long ways down the middle in compartments
He wasnt injured before getting in, unless the heroin turned him into a zombie.

Years ago PCP (Angel Dust) would do that to people...
He wasn't riding a bike. The cops were on bikes. They made 'eye contact'. That is street lingo for 'the cops is gonna bust you cause they seen you dealing'. In all likelihood (since he has dozens of arrests for possession and dealing) this wasn't the first time they saw him THERE doing THAT.
