If I were in his place, I would find myself responding very slowly to calls for violence, arson, especially without overwhelming numbers of other cops with me.

Fairly clear now that DC and its big city coherts have declared war against local police and local white business owners. Police will no longer be allowed to defend anyone in big cities.
