Prosecutors ruled that Freddie Gray's death was a homicide. Friday morning, State attorney Marilyn Mosby announced that all six officers involved in the incident have been charged and warrants are out for their arrests.
"Six officers are each facing multiple charges, including manslaughter, assault, misconduct in office and false imprisonment: Lt. Brian Rice, Sgt. Alicia White, Officer William Porter, Officer Garrett Miller, Officer Edward Nero and Officer Caesar Goodson," The Baltimore Sun reports. "Goodson, who drove the van, has been charged with second-degree murder."
Mosby described how police arrested Gray on no grounds, violated police procedures by cuffing his hands and legs the van without putting him in a seat belt, and repeatedly failed to provide him with medical attention.
On April 12, Gray was arrested for carrying a knife and his spine was somehow partially severed while in police custody.
Mosby said that the knife was legal and that the officers failed to establish probable cause for an arrest.
Gray underwent major surgery, lapsed into a coma, and died on April 19.
Mr. Gray was no longer breathing at all" when he was removed from the wagon.
His death sparked protests across Baltimore that escalated into riots.
"We know he was not buckled in the transportation wagon as he should have been. No excuses from me. Period," City Police Commissioner Anthony Batts said. "We know our police employees failed to get him medical attention in a timely manner multiple times."

Those are 3. Where are the others?
What, exactly, is “left wing” about NOT wanting the police to be given license to trample on people’s rights?
Don’t agree with these charges what so ever unless they came form an independent investigation because right now this all stinks of a witch hunt.
Prosecutor takes thousands of dollars from Grays lawyer. Mayor refused an outside investigation.
Mayor stated no justice no peace for Gray.
The whole thing stinks unless one has a bias or an agenda in this but hey at least the rioters, NAACP, Sharpton , obama, anarchists and cop haters etc are all happy now
Why are photos of the officers (all 6) not included in the news reports? At least they are not in any report I’ve seen.
Don’t you find this odd?
“They know the outcry when they post them”
The reason I ask is, I want to know the races of the cops. To anticipate how Al Sharpton is going to react if any are black.
Why would I be running away if I am the cop?
That only works if you can AFFORD to sue.
it may be that some of the officers are black and knowing the demographics of Baltimore it's quite possible that everyone involved may be a DEMOCRAT.
There are possible implications here far beyond anything stated or revealed by this news article.
Well lets see shall we.
No one wants rights trampled, however the left wing anarchists have a history of jumping on anything which puts cops in a bad light. They have a history of always fighting the police and like Michael Moore said yesterday.
Disarm cops which the left would love so they can have their anarchy and do anything they wan and to hell with anyone in their way.
As for charges and rights trampled. I think this all stinks to high heaven., Obama, Jarrett, this prosecutor who took thousands of dollars off Grays lawyer in donations,Mayor Sharpton and the rioters get what they want.
Where were the left wing and the handful of trolls on here when cops were being hurt or been shot.
Yes some of us have noticed they disappeared for that day on these issues just like they did when the two cops got shot in NY or 4 cops died in one week by being shot.
That's the key, right there. If they did not order him to stop then he was under no obligation to stop.
So?
Freddy took off running until two bike cops got him.
They were the cops wearing yellow vests with short sleeve shirts, and who dragged the former thug to the van.
I’ve been approached by cops a few times as I have that look, never once have I thought about running.
I;ve had conversations and showed respect like I do to everyone.
I supported officer Darren Wilson. I advocated, and still advocate, the execution of the man who murdered the two New York police officers.
What I will NOT do is be a “knee-jerk” supporter of the police no matter what they do. If you wish to do that, and call it a conservative position, you are free to do so.
Of course, you calling knee-jerk support for the police a conservative position does not make it one.
The fact that someone disagrees with you about something does NOT make that person “left wing”. It does not make them a troll. It simply means they disagree with you.
So?
Is it illegal to make eye contact with a cop?
Do you consider them to be that far above you?
“The citizen failed to properly avert his eyes in the presence of his superior”...
Exactly.
By the way, you did not answer my question.
You seem to miss the point entirely .
The left wing are notorious for hating cops and the law going back decades. They have a large history of fighting with cops, hating cops and jumping on issues like this.
Check Obama, Mayor, Sharpton , NAACP, Urban league etc comments.
I have said and you can check if you like in my past posts that all of this should be done by an independent investigation something which the Mayor has stated she does not want.
If these cops then did the wrong thing they should be charged by charged and investigated by an independent source, not by a prosecutor which took thousands of dollars from grays lawyer, from a Mayor which is with Sharpton and Obama and not by a rioting lawlessness , anti cop, anti white crowd.
The whole investigation should be done outside the state because there is no Jury in that city which will give the evidence a non biased look.
Does that make more sense to you on my position?
You are out of character and defending an asshole.
Did you know Mr. Gray personally?
If so, then you are out of character.
