States Attorney Marilyn J. Mosby said Friday she has probable cause to file criminal charges in the much publicized death of 25-year-old Freddie Gray who died while in police custody.
Six officers, including a lieutenant and a sergeant, have been suspended after the incident. Gray suffered a spinal injury and died after riding in a police transport van that made several stops.
On Thursday, Baltimores police officials said they turned over their initial report to prosecutors a day earlier than expected.

First off, I said the PHOTO looked fairly typical of an official photo of ANY prosecutor.
I make no judgments about her on the basis of this photo, either positive or negative.
As for what she had to do with his arrests/releases, I don't know. It has been reported that she's been on the job for 4 months... so unless all his arrests were within that timeframe, I'd say at least some of it wasn't on her watch.
I completely agree that the mayor is an incompetent fool. However, I haven't heard anyone suggest being a fool is a criminal offense. At least I haven't yet, although if I were a business-owner who was harmed during that riot, I would be tempted to explore civil charges.
I'm keeping an open mind about this case. Which is more than I can say about many contributors.
I'm no one's enemy here, please don't treat me as one.
>> By the way, I did not hear any charges for arsonist (who they have photos of), attacks with attempted murder of the police by throwing rocks and bricks, injuring over 100 officers
That’s an excellent point.
Why was the DA so hair-trigger quick in bringing charges against the officers... but a bit unresponsive in bringing charges against the rioters?
Yeah, I know; it’s a rhetorical question and we know the answer.
You’re only as young as you feel.
Reading between the lines, I believe that Gray was fatally injured when his body came into contact with an exposed bolt, as he was thrashing around in the back of the van.
She will justify 2nd degree murder by claiming that the officers drove recklessly, causing Gray’s injury.
This smells, big time.
But the fact remains, the poster implied she appeared to be a no nonsense, unbiased "Protector of the people" in that image.
Yet I have not seen a single comment or quote from the "Protector of the People" directed at the Mayor for publicly instructing law enforcement to give Space to those who wish to destroy.
Does this not seem a bit odd?
I hope you are right, because the alternative is this being 1859 with the next year being the preparation for civil war.
“...after summary execution was rejected.”
If they are being held in the Balamer jail, summary execution has not yet been excluded.

That seems to be a judgement of her demeanor based on the the image. Maybe I am mistaken.
But have you seen a single comment or quote from the "Protector of the People" directed at the Mayor for publicly instructing law enforcement to give Space to those who wish to destroy.

BTW, It's just a question and I don't consider you my enemy. Cheers.
Someone told him - recant or die.
Even a prosecutor knows someone is innocent until proven guilty. In court she makes her case. Right now they haven’t even been arrested yet. Her comment to the protestors about how this is their moment was out of line. Does she want justice or is she trying to calm the mob? Even if you say “she wants both” I think her tone and comments to the mob were out of line. This is not an election. Red meat not necessary.
I never suggested the Mayor was a criminal even though she instructed the police to give criminals who wished to destroy, plenty of space.
Many big names in law enforcement including former big city mayor's have stated the Mayor's comments were disgusting, outrageous and she should immediately step down.
In fact it seems nearly everyone in the country has voiced total outrage regarding the Mayor's pro criminal comments.
Everyone except the, "Protector of the people" States Attorney for Baltimore City, Marilyn J. Mosbyin.
Why was the DA so hair-trigger quick in bringing charges against the officers... but a bit unresponsive in bringing charges against the rioters?
Freddie Gray’s was arrested on April 12th injured and subsequently died on April 19th. The officers involved were investigated and suspended on April 21 after an internal review. The officers were formally charged on May 1st.
The Baltimore arson took place on April 27th and 28.
I dunno. That seems like a typical "no nonsense, protector of the people" stance and look that you would see in an official photo of any big city or federal prosecutor.
Again, saying nothing about her, pro or con. Simply that the official photo was typical of one you'd see of a prosecutor.
Looking straight into the camera. No smile.
So, we’ll see arson and attempted murder charges brought sometime around May 15th?
I’ll hold my breath in anticipation.
Don’t know. Just pointing out the timeline.
If the medical examiner was/is a DemonRAT, support of hussein/holder or a liberal, the findings are fraudulent. Until and unless the politics of the ME are shown to be Conservative, the built-in bias is self evident. It's an established fact that liberals lie whereas Conservatives stand for the truth. Yes, it's as black and white as that. There are no nuances or shades of gray.
Yep. It was outrageous. How people here can say it was good is beyond me.
How come the media says he died a week later? The whole think stinks, and I am not talking about the police. Maryland is a Rat hellhole.
This is a great story for Conservative Treehouse to start investigating right away!
