If we wanted, we could get lots of college-educated Europeans in their 20s.

That, however, would be too sensible.

:: you need younger, more dynamic people inside of our economy ::

And these “younger” and “more dynamic” people could not support the economy of their original homeland because...?

Jeb...
Jeb...
Bueller.?

“[If] you want to grow at 4 percent instead of 2 percent per year, you need younger, more dynamic people inside of our economy to get to 4 percent growth,” he said. “You can’t do it with a declining population, you can’t do it with a pathetic productivity rate,” he continued, warning that America ran the risk of going the way of Japan and parts of Europe if it didn’t institute immigration reforms.

Well maybe the feds and We the People ought to adopt policies that encourage and support marriage, including lowering income taxes to make it more affordable and stop the failed and destructive War on Poverty.

And discouraging, if not outlawing, abortion.

Bush is such a fool. The declining population and productivity have EVERYTHING to do with the Welfare State. And bringing more people in just adds to the burden. I’d be all for immigration if we got rid of Welfare.

Bush just can’t get it through hiss head that you can’t have a Welfare State and unrestricted, mass immigration.

I’m so insulted with Heb (the original Spanish pronunciation) calling us white people “not dynamic” (I assume he means shiftless) that I’m about to go loot a Walgreens.

We have entire cities in poverty and people literally rioting in the streets... and this guy wants to encourage and legalize millions of unskilled workers? Let’s relocate the young people of Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Detroit to where the jobs are and pay them to do something for a change.

“[If] you want to grow at 4 percent instead of 2 percent per year, you need younger, more dynamic people inside of our economy to get to 4 percent growth,” he said.

Then why does US Government policy punish middle-class families for having children??

I think that it is darned considerate for Jeb to give us concrete reasons why not to vote for him.

Prospective Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush clashed with National Review editor-in-chief Rich Lowry over immigration policy on Thursday, telling Lowry “I love you. I just think you’re wrong on immigration.”

I’m so tired of Jeb’s propaganda. He’s brought out every demonizing concept he can think of. We’re protectionists “first and foremost,” betrayers of what made America great, racists, yahoos . . . I’m sure there’s more where that came from. Just give him time.

Sessions has called for moderation, not a complete cutting off of legal immigration. Look at the figures. They’re all over the place. He’s suggested cutting legal immigration to about 500,000 a year. No one is suggesting cutting it off entirely.

Jeb is going after Walker, the front runner. That’s all this amounts to. And licking the ants of big business behind a thin veil of propaganda.

This legalizing crap is just more kicking the can. The insiders know we are screwed soon with the increasing demands on Social Security and Medicare. We spent the last 40 years aborting today’s taxpayers and we need new blood. A Ponzi scheme crumbles when you run out of new “investors.” This is only about getting more money to try to avoid the demand by retirees. They know they’ll all be replaced when the system crumbles.

I voted for his father and his brother both times, I will not vote for this a$$clown. He should switch parties to a D based on his policies.

Beware the politician who believes that “growth” and “productivity” are more important than American citizens.

This was the problem with the Whig leadership. They couldn’t bring themselves to oppose slavery, because it was “good for business”. Eventually the rank and file of the Whig party told them to go to hell and formed the Republican party, to steadfastly oppose slavery.

Then, after a few years, all the remaining “The business of America is business” Whigs joined the Republican party, and started their long ascent to its leadership again.
