BALTIMORE (WJZ ) From the beginning, the investigation into what killed Freddie Gray has centered on what happened inside the police transport van.
We knew there was another prisoner inside the van and tonight we hear from him.
WJZs Mike Schuh is the first to speak with Donta Allen about what he heard.

I don’t think that was the point he was making, if he was making any point, since I didn’t bring up any issue that that would settle. caww certainly didn’t respond to that question and had the opportunity to.
All I can say is that the neck is part of the spine. I don’t know what distinction a doctor would make between a broken neck and a severed spine. When the neck breaks it severs the spinal cord AFAIK. That will result in death or paralysis. The full autopsy should settle it.
Could his neck have been broken from being tossed into the van and the thumping heard was him just flopping around?
I agree the neck can easily be broken inadvertently. A couple of years ago, I found my neck was severely strained just from sleeping. It literally felt like it was almost broken it was that painful and stiff.
There sure shouldn't be any exposed bolts projecting out far enough
to injure anyone and if there was there is liability in that.
Now you say, QUOTE:
If a bolt is projecting out far enough to cause injury, as the report claimed,
then that would be a liability issue in any vehicle used for transporting humans for any purpose.
It's a prisoner van made with nuts and bolts, and angles, and hard surfaces
mainly built to prevent escape during transport to Jails, which are also
made from hard surfaces like Nuts, Bolts, Concrete, and Metal.
And you say that's a liability. There is the idiocy. I'm simply pointing it out.
Maybe you can build a better more softer cushy transport van for prisoners.
Maybe in your world they can be served peanuts also.

I got a fractured neck at a stoplight from a drunk driver and I would never expect the kind of damage I had from that.

Of that there is no doubt.
If a bolt is projecting out far enough to cause injury, as the report claimed, then that would be a liability issue in any vehicle used for transporting humans for any purpose.
Again, of that there is no doubt. It is based on the previous statement about projecting far enough out. I said nothing about the van being too hard of a surface. That came from your imagination.
Now take your illiterate bozo ass and buzz off.
Your Youtube link is stupid. I never made any claim that he didn’t try to hurt himself.
It is a part of the spine, I agree. Maybe it’s an error of thought on my part, but when I read that he died of major injuries to his spine, I thought how the heck is someone’s spine going to be injured to that extent in an arrest? (meaning his backbone, not his neck).
I was thinking did they do some atomic back breaker move on the guy? Some horrific beating that caused such injuries.
So maybe I am just stupid for thinking along those lines.
But when it became clearer to me that these injuries were in his neck, then it starts to make more sense how this could occur.
Police could break his neck for sure if they got rough enough I think. That is possible. At the same time it is also possible for him to break his own neck. The neck is fairly fragile, much less sturdy than the lower spine I would think.
Could some sort of fall in the van have caused that, especially if it was a fall related to him hurling himself around? Yes I think so, it’s possible.
Cameras in these vans and cop cars for that matter would be really helpful too.
But yes, a full autopsy, that would be really helpful in answering a lot of questions. Hopefully soon...
Nice spin but that's not the projection of your post.
Define far enough for me, I'm stupid remember, so please humor me.
I wondered why there are cams in there too. Seems like a no-brainer when prisoners commonly try to injure themselves.
As for the reporting; it’s a real mess. Once again the press played a big part in creating the ground for ghetto rioting.
It doesn't appear there's enough room to move around them, with that wall dividing it in two.
What spin? It’s what I said to begin with. You truly are a moron. lol
Don’t blame me because you’re too stupid to read plain English.
What would be the perfect "Far Enough" for prisoner vans?
Since the human spine is on the back of one’s body, and the windpipe is on the front, which did Gray do first?
Did he nearly totally (80%) sever his own spine first, or did he crush his own windpipe first?
And regardless of which came first, how did he manage the second act after after the first?
If your spine is nearly severed, you’re paralyzed and won’t be throwing yourself around. If your windpipe is crushed, you won’t be able to throw yourself due to an oxygen deficit.
Does anyone think of these things before they report them?
No, the spine is part of the neck. Its the the other way around and it is really, really important. Thank God it is the other way around. Your spine is encircled by your vertebra (your neck and back bones).
You can potentially hurt your spine without breaking vertebra.
You can easily break vertebra without severing your spine. My father did just that when I was a child. Imaging was not what it is now, and with the amount of damage he had, the doctors could not believe that he had not damaged his spine, but he hadn’t. They thought they just couldn’t see it, but his spine was fine “Just” his vertebra, legs, feet, ribs, and arms were broken.
He was lucky to be alive and lost height and shoe sizes from the bone fragments he lost and the way he healed.
But his spine was fine.

Please go back and read Post 17. That seems to be the origin of your stupid little fight.
You can break the bony part of your neck without injury to the spinal CORD. Injury to that is what can kill you.
The van bro be de-legitin’ da riots...
