BALTIMORE, Md. (WJLA) -- An investigation into the death of Baltimore resident Freddie Gray has found no evidence that his fatal injuries were caused during the videotaped arrest and interaction with police officers, according to multiple law enforcement sources.
The sources spoke to ABC7 News after being briefed on the findings of a police report turned over to prosecutors on Thursday.
Sources said the medical examiner found Gray's catastrophic injury was caused when he slammed into the back of the police transport van, apparently breaking his neck; a head injury he sustained matches a bolt in the back of the van.

It’s more to to riot!
Yes, it seem that Jack Webb’s old “facts” line means nothing any more to the American people.
Was he thrown against it or did he throw himself against it? Not that it’ll matter.
He was shot in the back right?
And then he fell against the van after being shot in the back.......
Theyll simply say the cops slammed him into the side of the van.
THE VAN KILLED HIM. BURN ALL THOSE WHITE VANS.
Time for somebody with skills to insert the clip from “The Jerk” where Steve Martin is working at the gas station...
He had his hands up and despite this the cops were able to pick him up like a battering ram and smashed him into the bolt on the wall of the van
PVS , Police Van Suicide
Headbangers ball!!
He sure fixed those cops.
Heard the idiot racist Mayor saying that they would make sure there was justice for this thug, to bad she doesn't give a damn about justice for the business owners, property owners and others in her sh!t hole of a city. If I was a cop on the city's payroll I would flip her the bird and leave, if I owned property or a business that was looted and burned or car that was destroyed I sue her personally for the losses since she facilitated the protesters. Protesters, what a joke, rioting, looting vermin that should be shot when caught in the act.
The driver of the van still hasn’t given them a statement?
Not sure, but he had his hands up. /s>
The paddy wagon ( that’s what my dad called em when he was a beat cop in the 110)made a couple of stops and I believe at one point called for a medic. We know he wasn’t strapped into a seat so I find it hard to believe that the driver made a number of short stops. How hard would a person have to ram himself against a metal bolt to break his spine? I’ve been on a number of insane roller coasters both here and abroad. At times I thought my back was going to break from all the twists and jolting from side to side. I’m truly confused about this whole thing.
If he slammed into the back wall, it would be very difficult for a van to accelerate quick enough to cause that alone. Now if he slammed into the front wall of the back area, then possible a massive braking could have caused it.
are there Cameras in the back of these Vans ? If not ,fix it
This may sound naive, but is there always a cop with them in the back of the paddy wagon where the prisoners are?
Bkmrk.
