If current demographic trends continue however, Islam is expected to catch up to Christianity midway through the 21st century... Islam has one BIG advantage... if someone decided to leave the 'religion' - they kill that person.

When the church becomes a social club people leave.
When the churches stand something people stay.
People want to be challenged. I'm ok, you're ok may sound nice but it gives us nothing to strive for.
It also is not true. Most of us know deep down that we could stand some improvement. Some times we can stand a lot of improvement.
People reject the lie.

No. Christians are not leaving the faith in droves. Pseudo "Christians" may be leaving in droves, but they were never Christians to begin with.
