Maybe they’re converting liberalism because that’s where the power is!

IMHO

if you promote fags and accept all the various behaviors... why bother going to church? there is no sin

and once they accepted/endorsed politicians that backed killing (unborn) kids... it was over

Get better priests that stand up to evil, and stop trying to be hip.

And ditch those stupid mega churches.

I don’t know whether we are net postive or negative in our Catholic parish, but we keep getting new members every year. Even if we shrink, there are a substantial number of dedicated, good, friendly people left, and those are the kind of people that attract and welcome others to the faith.

The trend will continue and even increase as long as muslims are decapitating Christians who do not renounce their faith while the western democracies hunt down and prosecute people who tell the horrible truth about Islam.

Leaving the apostate-teaching churches is not losing faith in Christ.

Great news, the weeding out is taking place, a person who claims to be a Christian and supports abortion isn’t a christian, so good bye.

Satan’s religion is growing.

Leaving a church does not equate with leaving Christ. Some churches need leaving.

1.6 billion Muslims

Just about perfect amount for the “Greens” to remove in order to “right-size” global population.

Why believe in Christ when the empire is everywhere and all powerful, there is peace in the land, and their are bread and circuses for all?

And the yahoos at Yahoo couldn't be more delighted.

I'll take this with a grain of salt, however. As I do almost everything these clowns report.

Well my Church here in Albuquerque just opened a fourth campus and you can find very few Pastors more conservative than Pastor Pastor Steve Smothermon of Legacy Church in Albuquerque. We are growing because Pastor Steve is preaching the real word and people hunger for the unfettered truth.

Anecdotally to be sure, but I have sure seen that in my Church over the years. My kids tell me that their Sunday services are half what they used to be.

Philosopher Will Herberg came up with a very compelling thesis called the “Cut Flower culture”.

Often we are told by liberals “look how moral and upstanding secular\ Atheist nation X (Norway, Sweden, etc) is. That is proof we do not need God to have a moral society”

What they are not considering is that the reasons these nations have high moral standards, are because they have been indoctrinated in Christian morals and culture for hundreds of years. Before Christianity, the Norwegians were raiding and raping Vikings, the Germans were murdering barbarians, the Mexicans were human sacrificing Aztecs.

The theory is that a flower continues to stay healthy awhile after being cut from the nurturing soil it was cut from. But eventually, it will die, and likewise are cultures as they are cut from the culture that brought them their moral code.

In many cases, the Christian churches have left the faithful, not the other way around.

I am currently without a church. The first Christian church that has an ounce of masculinity could get my attention.

Haven’t found one yet.
