It was hard to read the statistics but it appears people are leaving churches not religions. What morally healthy individual could tolerate the false teachings in main line churches?

Too many people are Christians in name Only, and have no biblical knowledge in what being a follower of Christ means. Calling themselves Christians and truly having Christ in their lives are two very different things. We need to educate people about the Christian faith, even if they call themselves Christians.

The poll conveniently ignores today's explosive growth in Christianity in China, in South America, and in Africa, particularly among those who formerly adhered to Islam. They might be leaving a denomination (especially those that have become apostate and no longer believe in or preach the Bible as the Word of God) but I seriously doubt they've given up following our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!

As well, the Roman Emperor Constantine along with the Roman Catholic Church perverted God's law, the 4th Commandment that begins with REMEMBER by moving the Sabbath day of worship from the last day to the 1st day of the week because it was both politically and religiously expedient. Hello! They are leaving the apostate churches in droves. Their belief in the one true GOD has not changed. It is the churches who have changed. Now they must leave or stay trapped in the false religious doctrine being taught by many so called “churches” today. They know the true church.

The apostate churches are not preaching the gospel anymore. But the church needs more money for a new library or gymnasium. Dare I say maybe pastor needs a new Gulfstream. Priorities are lost. The poor in spirit can wait and go to hell until the financial situation improves and financial goals are met.

The true church wants to hear the truth, not some politically correct gospel, being taught from the pulpit by some heretic pastor.
