By now, youve probably heard of Kristen Lindsey. Shes the veterinarian from Brenham whos given more bad press to the state than Blue Bell after she posted a picture on Facebook of herself, smiling and holding an arrow with a dead cat on the end of it:

My county estimates there are 700,000 feral cats in the county. Thats with a 70-80% mortality rate due to disease and predators.
They are diseased nasty creatures. Many of which have been released by ‘responsible’ pet owners who had them de-clawed before letting them go.
I’d like to see her on the end of a harpoon.
How would you control feral cats?
Vets kill thousands and thousands of dogs and cats every single day. Are you only outraged at this lady because you can see the dead cat?
Feed ‘em to the dogs!
Oh well, America 2015. A guy used to have a moral compass that would have put this in perspective, shrugged, and got on with improving his family’s quality of life.
No...only outraged because of Facebook!
Ha! Be glad you’re not saying that on Twitter, unless you purposely want to kick up a little dust.
Oh brother. Pray tell what is wrong with shooting cats? Are you vegan, i.e. confused as to how the real world functions?
She’s smiling. Can’t you see her smile? Vets frown when they kill cats. She should have removed the arrow and frowned. Then, maybe, fewer people would think she deserves to die.
My sarcasm might not be clear, considering how stupid people have become.
Well the problem here is that that cat wasn’t feral. It belonged to a neighbor down the street. Anyone whos seen a feral cat knows that even with an arrow sticking out of its head that cat had been taken care of by someone. Feral cats are mangy and skinny.
If you want to defend her do it, but not by trying to divert the conversation.
The cat she killed appears to be a healthy pet, called Tiger.
Here is the video of your feral cat.

The vet, who was fired, appears to be a nutcase.
Outrage is coming from more than just a dead cat. It has more to do with the fact that this cat, named Tiger, belonged to a neighbor down the street from her.
One way might be to first ensure it's feral and not, as in this case, a neighbor's cat who got loose.
Troll much?
I hate to say this, but I’m developing an unhealthy attitude about female vets.
The only negative experiences I’ve had have been with younger females, they are dominating the field, and in the past few years, every time I go to a larger facility, there’s sure to be at least one buzz-cut butch vet or tech. One specialty place I went to, they were all that way.
I’m not saying that women can’t be good vets. But, I just have a sick feeling that a lesbian mafia is dominating the field. Again, I hate to say it. But, I feel that way.
“Id like to see her on the end of a harpoon.”
Me too! Wait,,,, by “harpoon”, did you mean,,,
People are also bothered that this is a veterinarian, and one who when you look into her, seems to be a little off center.
How does a vet not be able to tell a feral cat from a calm, beloved pet?
100% wrong. STRAY cats are mangy and skinny. Feral cats thrive.
