I hate to say this, but I’m developing an unhealthy attitude about female vets.
The only negative experiences I’ve had have been with younger females, they are dominating the field, and in the past few years, every time I go to a larger facility, there’s sure to be at least one buzz-cut butch vet or tech. One specialty place I went to, they were all that way.
I’m not saying that women can’t be good vets. But, I just have a sick feeling that a lesbian mafia is dominating the field. Again, I hate to say it. But, I feel that way.
I am pretty well convinced that only 10-15% of those in the medical or care providing industry are good people. 85-90% of them are subclinical sociopaths that want an easy means to abusing, harming, or exacting some twisted domination/control over the weak, sick, dying, or disabled.
When I first read your post I thought you posted “I hate to say this, but Im developing an unhealthy attitude about female CATS.”

How many different vets offices have you scoured the employment rolls to determine this?
I only go to 1 vet’s office.
They are, to a person, fantastic to work with. And mostly young women, both the techs and the vets.
There may be something to that. The best vets I’ve ever used have been male. The female ones always seemed cold. This is coming from a woman, btw.
Fixed.
