Students at Johns Hopkins University voted this week to ask the schools administrators to prevent Chick-fil-A from opening a store on campus.
Citing Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathys opposition to gay marriage, students said the presence of the chain on campus would be a microaggression against LGBT members of the community, Eater reports.
Though the Student Government Association approved the resolution, the move is purely hypothetical: theres no indication that the Johns Hopkins administration was in negotiations with Chick-fil-A, though some students had wondered whether the chain might open a location in a new building under construction on campus.

SO because the CEO has personal beliefs the company, which does NOT discriminate, needs to be banned?
Think about where that leads.
No negotiations with Chick-fil-A? Yet the ‘students’ were worried about it? These students aren’t getting an education.....they are only getting indoctrination. And at a school that is supposedly one of America’s finest. Appalling!
John Hopkins is begging to be zotted.
I wonder what it takes to offend political overlords, not much I guess?
The left always discriminates. It’s their MO.
File under fascists in training.
Maybe the Homosexual crowd should learn tolerance and try living in and with the whole world.
There is no hope for these Students.
Yeah, into unconstitutional territory.
Diversity of Ideas? Oh Hell no....
McDonalds seems to push a lot of diversity and inclusion in their adverts (and seems to need more sales these days).
Perhaps they would be interested.
Given the size of a typical Chick-fil-a, wouldn't it be macroaggression?
I think that John Hopkins graduates should be banned from being employed, because it is obvious that they haven’t been educated adequately.
As long as they go looking for a job in elite politics, there probably will be a place of work for them.
Did any of them try a milk shake from Chik Fil A before casting their vote? They must not have because if they did they would have voted ‘yea’ to Chic Fil A!
Ironically, after the big outcry over Dan Cathy’s opposition to gay marriage, Chick-fil-A chickened out anyway and Dan Cathy surrendered to the gay activists. But they’re still kicking him when he’s down! Moral of the story: Dan Cathy shouldn’t have chickened out.
Let’s just get blunt and call it a vast overreaction. CEOs don’t have absolute power over the corporation, so as much as Cathy may personally believe something, he cannot absolutely make it policy, he has to make his point with the rest of the board. But hey, if the leftists can make an ever-expanding list on their irrational reasoning about who it’s okay to hate, let them.
The “micro-aggression” is that thing between their jackbooted red legs.
I wonder how Johns Hopkins feels about the beastiality in Denmark.
