Carly Fiorina plans to launch her presidential campaign on May 4, in an online announcement that dispenses with the pageantry that has become de rigueur in 2016 White House runs.

another big YAWN
Jeb’s running mate?
I like her comments about Hillary. I’m assuming she will make little real headway as a politician, but I am glad Carly will be in the public eye pointing out truths about HIllary that others are not voicing.
No! Hear me out. She is an awesome attack dog. Can be much crueler on Clinton because of course, she’s a woman. And she has been. Let he go nuts on Clinton, then give her some cushy position.
She can’t be serious. She must be angling for a VP spot.
did she says she’d be running as a republican or a democrack?
I can see her running because the RNC is paying her to be the Hillary attack dog. I can’t see her being elected to anything.
If she attacks Cruz and Walker for opposing illegal aliens and amnesty for their employers, we’ll know she has two missions.
Palin was not dumb, but she had a regional accent and most Americans didn't know her. Tina Fey told everyone that Palin was dumb, and many Americans said: "Okay."
Fiorina may not win an award as best CEO in history, but no one can label her as a dumb blonde with an empty head.
So the GOP has a smart woman with a real career who can now go toe-to-toe with Hillary. It won't be pretty.
I'm hoping Fiorina does damage and makes it that much easier for Cruz to win.
THIS!
Just so her guns stay aimed at the Hildabeast...
What we need is more women in the field.
...... but I am glad Carly will be in the public eye pointing out truths about HIllary that others are not voicing.
Very good point.
God, she is so fast and cutting edge. I’m just left here in her wake wondering how to keep up. She waits till the real contenders jump in. Then announces in two weeks she’s gonna release a video,, that announces she is running.
These high powered business execs really are a force of nature, aren’t they?
And it makes sense now. See,,,, I would think when you lose a statewide race, you wouldn’t think, I should run for something BIGGER. I knew I shoulda studied in school.
I said something similar in a different thread, last week. Carly, being female, can get away with criticizing HRC. The men in the race really can't. A different version of not being able to criticize Obama in 2008 because of skin color. However, Carly can, and has been, doing a good job of criticizing her. Her put down of the HRC supporters who always say that she was the "most travelled" SecState in history; "Flying is an activity, not an accomplishment"; is short, to the point, and a nice dig at Hillary and her lack of accomplishments.
Yep.
Also, she’s not gonna get the same slobbering coverage by the media that they’re giving to Hillary. They’ll treat her like all the rest of the GOP field while they remind us a million times over that Hillary could be the first woman president. I’m glad our side can judge Carly Fiorina on the issues and not her gender the way the other side does. Ditto on Ben Carson, Marco Rubio, and Ted Cruz. We’re not going to judge them because they’re Black and Cuban American, but by their stands on the issues. It’s our side that’s doing what Martin Luther King envisioned and that is we’re judging them on the content of their character and not by the color of their skin.
Is she going to run on cutting the cost of printer ink?
It should be noted that Fiorina is pro-life and became a Christian after she left HP. I remember her interview from the Willow Creek Leadership Summit and was struck by the fact that the woman I saw speaking in no way resembled the villain she has been made out to be in the media. I have friends that worked at HP during her tenure and for certain she at least partially earned some of her reputation, but I think her cancer and subsequent conversion experience have changed her for the better. She isn’t my first choice (that nod goes to Cruz), but I wouldn’t object to her as the VP.
