Walker just freed up these highly skilled folks from job lock. I’m sure they can develop a product that creates value for their field now.

“Walker just freed up these highly skilled folks from job lock.”

They can now follow their dreams! They can work on their hobbies! They can learn to play the piano! They can start a business because Government is SO ‘business friendly!’

When our last governor, ‘Diamond Jim Doyle’ (D, WI) was going to CUT 10,000 teachers to balance the budget, we heard nary a PEEP from the unions or the teachers OR the media in our state.

When Governor Scott Walker balanced our budget without a SINGLE lay off for teachers, they acted as if it were the end of the world.

Effing’ Socialists!

It’s a pretty limited field for a guy or gal with a degree in environmental science. If you don’t get picked up by some university crowd or foundation group....that $80,000 in college debt really starts to become a problem quickly after the graduation event. Generally, your only alternate scheme is science teacher with some school. If you look at pay-charts for a rookie teacher for the first five years...it’s a rough situation on paying back the college debt.
