Former Maryland Gov. Martin OMalley, who is strongly considering challenging Hillary Clinton for the 2016 Democratic presidential nomination, had some choice words for Clinton as well as the Republican Party in an interview he conducted with NPR on Mondayat least one of the words was bleeped out.
OMalley, a hard leftist whose record of raising taxes leaves no stone unturned in enriching the state of Maryland from private coffers, called the GOPs contention that excessive regulations burden Americans and leave them unable to progress economically patently bulls.
True to his own leftist philosophy, he channeled Occupy Wall Street, asserting that large corporations get breaks unavailable to small businesses, intoning, our tax codes been turned into Swiss cheese And certainly the concentrated wealth and accumulated power and the systematic deregulation of Wall Street has led to this situation where the economy isnt working for most of us. All of that is true.
He continued, But it is not true that regulation holds poor people down or regulation keeps middle class from advancing. Thats kind of patently bulls.

And the sheep will believe.
Ask him why 8,000 businesses fled our state under his reign. Crickets.....
He complains about the tax structure, but refuses to see that a fair portion of the regulatory structure serves the same purpose - to bar startups from entering certain commercial spaces.
Beretta USA was founded in 1977 and based in Accokeek, Maryland. It manufactures military, police, and civilian pistols.[14] In May 2013 the company announced that, despite disagreements with the State of Maryland over recently enacted changes to Maryland gun control laws it would not relocate its Accokeek facility.[15] The facility employs around 400 workers.[14]
In January 2014 Beretta announced the construction of a design and production facility in Gallatin, Tennessee to expand its US operations.[14] The US$ 45 million facility was scheduled to be completed in 2014 and will employ another 300 workers
I own several Berettas. Years ago I was pleased they would open up a facility in the US to produce them. I was dismayed, however, they chose to locate it in blue Maryland.
I do have one or two made in MD, but the ones I have made in Italy are my prized ones. Someday, I hope to buy one from a plant located in Tennessee, though.
They were run by evil conservative capitalists who moved because they would not pay their fair share and should be prosecuted by the state for the greater good...
Actually, Martin O’Malley resembles bullsh*t.
The state with a “Rain Tax”...
From the man who taxes rain.
The Low Information crowd in the other 49 states will vote for him. Sadly, those here in MD will too.
Bingo. I am afraid that the majority already agrees with him. The deck is stacked against them, and they need a gubbermint ally with a big stick to beat those EEEEEVIL wealthy and the corporations into giving them their fair share.
Well, he's right about that part.
Maryland "Freak State" PING!
And he has lots of experience ‘fixing’ the tax code in Maryland. Like that rain tax.,
Class? The Rats are all trashy jerks.
