To be precise — the words of the Grand Mufti are the official pronouncements of the Saudi regime. For people who have a separation of Church and state (indeed much of the Western world), it may be difficult to understand the Saudi regime. The Mufti and the King are both part of the Saudi-Wahabbi regime

Basically, what I'm telling you is this -- the regime in Saudi Arabia is not just the King, but the entire Saud-Wahab edifice. They are emperors ruling over lands and tribes conquered in 1918. They are a theocratic government and have been. They ban any religion except Islam and they have destroyed Sufi, Shia and Ismaili monuments and tombs in the country.

Their only allegiance, only ally is Islam and specifially the Salafist Wahab strain. They use the USA only for this purpose and have used it and American money since the 60s to pay for the spread of Salafist teaching across hte world
