Ted Cruz gave another electrifying speech to a welcome crowd at the New Hampshire Republican Leadership Summit.

I’m Jealous.....
It’s not unusual for audiances to be packed with specific supporters....so I don’t put a lot into the applause. It’s a stage event so there will always be “groups” who selectively attend.
Plus it’s still very early....as another poster wrote...Cruz just needs to keep going forward and doing what he’s doing....it takes time for people to get with the program of this next election.
it’s up to us.
My check to Cruz has already cleared.
More to come, God willing...
We don’t give $ to candidates but I would happily volunteer to help Cruz.
Of course, I give money to FR every quarter, and am grateful to be able to do that.
Cruz has broken that string of not giving $$s because he really is conservative.
I commend you for volunteering. Shoe leather is as important as dollars.

You rock. Keep going.
And don't forget FR. I make sure they get money from me every quarter if I can.

Last time I worked (hard) for a candidate (I was county co-chair) was for Alan Keyes. Don’t flame me :)
Absolutely it has been the case and always will be, I have said when Cruz announced; the others will eventually blow up they are not well rounded in the things that really count: Alertness, vigilance, promptness, bearing, courage, decisiveness, dependability, endurance, enthusiasm, force, humility, humor, initiative, intelligence, integrity, judgement, justice, loyalty, sympathy, tact, and unselfishness, the others display some of these leadership traits some of the time, Cruz displays all of them all the time.
World and American history has taught us for times such as these one man will emerge to forge a path through the mucky mire and the slough of despair, Cruz is that man!
There is only one choice any 2d choice is inferior and will fall far short of what we need.
Keep powder dry and money bombs lined up... Cruz’ll go to saturate markets using our $upport. Just getting warmed up!
Hey, I’ve still got my Alan Keyes ‘96 campaign t-shirt around here somewhere...
And actually, a lot of what I like about Cruz I also liked about Keyes — both are principled guys and great speakers. What’s different is that I think Cruz has an actual shot at winning.
Wow, what did you think of him in person?
31.62% : Senator Ted Cruz (80 votes)
25.30% : Governor Scott Walker (64 votes)
9.88% : Dr. Ben Carson M.D. (25 votes)
9.09% : Senator Marco Rubio (23 votes)
Great news! What's the source of this poll?

I watched the entire speech, including the questions afterward where Loretta Lynch’s (sp) nomination was discussed.
Frankly, Ted Cruz was brilliant, with crisp responses.
He asked Loretta Lynch if it would be “OK” if a future president used “executive privilege” to only enforce 25 percent of the IRS code, or perhaps order the EPA to “not” enforce EPA laws in Texas.
Loretta Lynch refused to answer those questions (as part of a senate hearing).

I hope you’re right, I think everyone, myself included, should calm down about Cruz. The first debate hasnt even happened yet, when it does and if Cruz does well there should be a little more breathing room.
He was great. The meeting was billed as one for HomeSchoolers so the place didn’t actully fill up, but he ended up talking about everything, and then opening it up for Q&A, which was great. He was probably really tired, since he had been at that huge “First in the Nation” gathering earlier in the day.
We got to talk to him afterward, but there were a lot of others waiting to speak with him and get some pics, so the handlers started to move things along by taking the pictures for us (as they usually do at these gatherings). (I did get a picture but am not entirely happy with it so only sent it to a handful of friends and family!)
By the time we got to him, my friend spent some time talking to him about the pro-life issue and there was a lot going on around us with people wanting pics etc., so after he asked us our names, I just told him that I had been in touch with the guys on his New Hampshire team and that I had signed-up to help out. He was very thankful.
