He needs to ignore the state. Concentrate on the southeast, south, midwest, Alaska, and the rocky mountain states.
Outside of maybe Maine, the New England states are dead meat.
There might be a possible in Oregon and Washington if he wants to waste some time. I wouldnt waste a minute in the northeast.

Yes as I watched the reaction in the room I was thinking NH will be a tough sell for Ted Cruz. I figured they would be more enthusiastic for Walker.

Someone needs to call them on it. And invoke the shame of those ignoring Cruz.
Go for it. I don't have any pull there.

I watched it, also. I don’t disagree with your comment. I merely posted the NY Times article because that reporter was there, and could presumably assess the mood of the room in the context of the reaction to prior candidates.

Yes I know and also each news outlet has their own agenda so they report everything slanted toward their point of view. I heard Rand Paul got a standing O but I did not see his speech so can’t comment on it.

Incredible speech!
He was loose, funny, and right-on-target!
He is getting better and better, and he started off good already!

The audience was lukewarm.
I believe I watched the same video of his speech and came to a different conclusion, that the crowd really was warm to him and fully enjoyed his speech.

Maybe lukewarm was the wrong word. I thought they would be enthusiastically clapping and a standing O at the end and it was not. It was polite.

I'm listening to the speech right now, and on multiple occasions that are most certainly applauding very enthusiastically.

Our perception of the crowd’s reaction to Ted Cruz is just different. I was surprised that it was not way more enthusiastic but NH is not that conservative.

I thought to myself they will probably go ape chit for Walker.
Here is the YouTube version of Walker's speech. Once you listen, you are going to be pleasantly surprised at how much better Ted Cruz did vs. Scott Walker. Walker was flat, Cruz was on fire! Walker talked about himself, Cruz focused on constitutional issues
No comparison between the two!

flatly ignoring Cruz
I got the same impression today when he was barely mentioned on Meet the Press, Face the Nation or Fox News Sunday.
The media instead is dredging up losers like Christie and other unknowns.
I believe that the Liberal Media has already chosen Bush vs Clinton.

OK Johnny. I’m going to make a prediction which may not make you happy. I think the ticket will wind up being Walker/Cruz. Believe me I would rather have it the other way around. Cruz has come out as an early firebrand for conservatism. And he’s going to piss off some moderate republicans. Rubio is now out and is making some batsh!t crazy statements and I think he will alienate the conservatives. Meanwhile Walker who has not announced is making the rounds and seeing the flack that Cruz and Rubio are getting. This will make Walker look like the sanest choice. I think Bush does not have a chance and I am not worried a bout anyone else out there. That being said I will vote for Cruz in the primary. He is our best hope. Even if he winds up being VP he will make good ground in the senate by kicking them in their butts.

I believe that the Liberal Media has already chosen Bush vs Clinton. The liberal media doesn't have that many votes.
If they don't want to mention Cruz, it's up to us.

It doesn't make me unhappy. I will keep volunteering and sending money to Cruz because I have decided to support him.
If the ticket winds up being something other than Cruz at the top, I'll evaluate that when the time comes.
I won't ever vote for a liberal.
Walker has changed quite a bit in the last decade or so.
