Father died a few hours ago.
Veteran of Saipan.
It has not quite hit me yet. I was care giver 24/7 for both my parents for seven years. My mother went two years ago.
Just drinking.
That’s rough. Hope he didn’t suffer and you have no regrets of things unsaid.
Be safe & be well.
Prayers for you. My parents passed in ‘78 and ‘90, and have lost all my siblings. Last one passed in December. Thankfully I have my two sons, and my brother’s family.
Prayers and positive thoughts with you. It’s tough. I understand.
My condolence and prayers to you. :(
You are in my prayers for comfort and peace.
Condolences FRiend, it’s a very hard time. Prayers up.

I know what it’s like my FRiend.
Lost my Mom after a long illness, I was with her nearly all the time.
Lost my Dad just a few months ago.
It hurts a lot.
Father and Mother are gifts from Above to be loved, honored, and obeyed. May the blessings given through yours to you (including temporal life itself) redound to the benefit of all whom you deal with from one day to the next, and may you receive comfort in knowing that the Creator knows our weakness and faults, and has taken upon Himself to deal with us in the greatest compassion. As you think back on Mom and Dad, may there be great reason for abundant thanksgiving and joy, because the Creator is not slack in granting us everything good, both in this life and in the next. That includes, among countless other blessings, beverages to refresh the body while making the pain more bearable.
My dad served in China-Burma and is still hanging in there. I can’t imagine what grief I’ll go through when he is gone. It will be the same sadness which you are experiencing now. Be strong as you can. You have my prayers. God bless.
Sorry for your loss.
May he rest in peace and may the Holy Spirit comfort you during this time.
I am so sorry for your loss..Condolences to you and your family
Prayers up. You took care of them now you need to take care of yourself as well. What you did for your parents isn’t easy and can mean you have to sort things out in the mind which takes time. Find a friend or someone you trust & can talk too when your ready. BTW don’t be surprised if your brain leaves you dysfunctional for a few weeks. All part of it as well.
