BRANDON FL (WFLA) - Walmart customers can't understand what's plaguing the "plumbing problems" of Walmart stores from Brandon to California.
"Must be a major plumbing problem is all I can say," would-be customer Dale White said as security guards turned him away from the Supercenter on Brandon Boulevard in Brandon.
The retail chain announced Monday that five stores are shutting down - one in Brandon, two in Texas, one in Oklahoma and one in California - due to clogging and drainage problems. ...
The shutdown blindsided about 400 Brandon Walmart workers who must now find another store to transfer to or receive 60-days pay for the loss of their jobs.
However, 8 On Your Side has found no paperwork and no work done on the plumbing. According to Hillsborough County, Walmart didn't notify the county's permit department either. No one there has heard a peep from Walmart about any major repairs. ...

I’ve read this is somehow related to jade Helm. It’s all about a conspiracy but it makes sense . There are a lot of questions and no answers.
The Homosexual supporting store chain seems to have a waste blockage? How metaphorical.
Something stinks. You can build a Walmart in less that six months. What do they have, four toilets and a couple sinks?
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=
I grew up near one of these Walmart stores. The grounds where the store was built used to be Northrup Grumman, where some stealth fighter or bomber parts were built. The exact location of this particular store is where was the parking lot for employees of Northrup Grumman.
Seems to me that Wal Mart would rent out a few port-o-potties before they’d close down stores.
Hmm... no plumbing problems noticed, very sudden closure, no permit pulled for plumbing work... sumtins up!
You mean the biggest gun selling store and the most hated by the left?
If they re-open..all employee’s will have to re-apply.
That’s one way to do a *work around*.
Yep.........
It has it's good points, but it is a little like a tasty stew to which someone has added a turd.
I guess it becomes a question of how much turd in your stew you can stand. I like the gun selling aspect. I detest the Homo-Fascism conformity demanding aspect.
Weird. How did they come up with six months? Even if they redid the entire sprinkler system I don’t see it taking that long. Seems to me also that there would be separate tie-ins to the sewer system with restrooms front and back, but I might be wrong. Still don’t see what would constitute 6 months or how they came to that number. Most stores would be built from the same ‘prototype’ set of drawings and adapted accordingly to each location.
It is easily the least left, and most right, of all of it’s competition.
They shut down two in Montgomery County, Texas, this week. Said they probably won’t be opened until September or October.
Don’t know what it is, but it is going to cost Wal-Mart and their employees!
Maybe Wal-Mart is tired of the crap and is using this to show the American economy that they are much more important than all the left-wing nutjobs claim! I D K, just another theory!
Hell, they excavated the site, built the store, and opened for business near me in less than six months. No way they take that long for repairs.
LOL, bad karma for Wal-Mart?
CORRECTION: They were talking about two in Montgomery County, apparently they only closed down the one over near Montgomery, Texas, just west of Conroe, Texas.
It's a Super Center and I'm sure is a very profitable store. I don't live there but pass it on a regular basis and the parking lot is always crowded..24/7.
My guess is there is a real problem or this store wouldn't be closed for 6 months.
It would be helpful to know when the stores were built.
One could guess it to be, yes.
how much toxic chinese pet food...toys and other items have they sold...
"Walmart Discount Stores are discount department stores with sizes varying from 51,000 to 224,000 square feet (4,738.1 to 20,810.3 m2), with the average store covering about 102,000 square feet (9,476.1 m2).[10]"
That's a whole lotta space for doing who-knows-what for six months. Hiding in plain site. The trucks go in, the trucks go out... oh it's just Wal-Mart, "moving things around".
Come to think of it, reminds me of those Stormtrooper trucks.
bro it is (as someone stated earlier) a ‘work around’.
My rule of thumb is "if it does more good than harm, leave it alone."
