Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-Conn.) is set to reintroduce legislation this week that would provide a $2,000 tax credit to people who chose to turn in an assault weapon to law enforcement.
According to the Support Assault Firearm Elimination and Education of our (SAFER) Streets Act, the term specified assault weapon that people could turn in for the tax credit includes a long list of pistols, rifles and shotguns including:

Here’s the bill which hopefully will never see the light of day:

Maybe you should turn in your rifle, move to a free state, and buy two more rifles.
Remember, DeLaurao is on record saying her goal is the elimination of privately owned firearms. Complete confiscation. She didn’t try to hide it, to the contrary, she was quite proud of it.
Geez, I looked briefly at the bill and didn’t see any mention of a “shoulder goes up thing” accessory. Did they miss that?
Heck....Hi-point carbine is on her list. I’d turn mine in for that ($2000 credit)....cost me near nothing.
Last time I saw a mouth like that it had a hook in it!
PLEASE pass this!!!!
I have a 3D printer and could use the extra money.
She looks like De Niro in that photo. Hmmmm.
If you look at the list it seems to cover everything but double barrel shotguns and bolt action rifles. And I’m not sure about the bolt actions.
And buy 4 more
Send her back to Vulcan ,LOL
So a sporterized MN with a pistol grip would be worth $2000? There would be a lot of cottage industries spawned by this bill.
All that does is place a price floor on any "semiautomatic rifle that has an ability to accept a detachable magazine, and that has a folding or telescoping stock, a threaded barrel, a pistol grip, a forward grip, or a barrel shroud.
She forgot to list "the shoulder thing, that goes up". The old bat is bat**** crazy.
Did she mention those eeevil black, assault, cop-killing rifle thingys?
Any 30 caliber clips that shoot 30 rounds/ sec?
...and then sell them to your neighbors for $20.00. (hey, now the zombies have to fight through them before getting to you!)
I must strenuously object to our tax money being spent to purchase things the government has absolutely no need of having any more of.
“Our” federal govt already has dozens of agencies running around in our domestic communities ... weaponized to the teeth.
You want our guns, you dried up old moonbat, then come and take them! Burn some shoe leather & go door to door while you’re at it!
Rosie, put some teeth in your belief!
