OK. Three questions:
1) What are the Constitutional qualifications for "eligibility to the office of President of the United States"?
2) How many ways are there for a person to become President?
3) Which of those ways is blocked by the XXII Amendment?
Obama could get back in if he became Speaker of the House, and the President and Vice President both resigned at the same time. Then he would be Acting President but could exercise all the powers of the office (and then some, as he does now).
I hope you can leave and soon.
Gas?? That seems extreme. Hanging’s good enough for them.
Not at all. The 22nd Amendment does not make anyone ineligible for the office of president. Only the 12th does, and if you are 35 or more years of age and natural born you are eligible.
The 22nd just says you cannot be elected to the office of president. You can still come into office by succession.
We have already bought a home in Colorado near our son and are trying to sell our home in California and get the Hell out of liberal lala land.
