Jeez, how much snow would the northeast have if not for GLOBAL WARMING?
Snowiest winter since 1717?
Ya think?
They tell you global warming causes cold weather. That’s why if you boil water hot and long enough, it freezes.
Is winter completely over, in the Northeast? When is the last snowfall, usually?
Climate change alert.
No one informed liberals its spring!
I got caught in a heavy snow storm, on July 4th, at Fort Drumm, NY. Does that count?
Hurricane Carol of 55, sure .... and snow occasionally waist deep ... but not humongous snowfalls of this year
Here in SW Pa, we had the severest COLD ever (IMO) .... 4 or 5 zero and sub zero snaps lasting for days with teens in between .... I don't know of any records to compare, but no one here has ANY recollection ... even of a story about such.
I am using propane at an incredible rate. It is bankrupting me.
Boston had well over 6’ of snow this year.
There is NO data that will ever change the mind of the true believers.
It’s the new religion of the power mad, greedy, self-important and of course, superior-than-you leftist rich. Thinking logically is optional. They make things like Scientology look normal and attractive by comparison (ok, maybe I’m going a little too far). I believe in caring for our environment and not polluting but there are sane policies that can be put in place if you have that as your goal. For these folks, it’s all about control for their benefit. Humility before honor; pride before a fall. Still a great guiding principle.
Make that 9 feet, or 108.6 inches to be exact. That was at Logan airport, which is actually measured in Winthrop. Broke the all time record since records have been kept.
Many areas in MA, RI, and CT did even better than that.
And the bulk of it came in a 3 week period.

I’m about 15 miles south of boston and i still have
some snow on my lawn.
We had a brief snow squall on Mount Desert Island (Bar Harbor, ME) on a 4th of July in the early/mid 90's...fireworks that night in Bangor were detonating in a low cloud deck...a real eerie experience.
I’m in Boston. I’m shocked it melted! There are still large dirty piles that won’t melt for quite some time! Worst winter ever!!
July 4? I don’t know. It could be an “early” snow for the coming fall.
In the West, it can snow in any month, if your elevation is high enough. I have seen deep snow drifts in Utah in July, but we were up at 10,000 feet.
I got to experience that snow in Marshfield in February.
More snow than this Texas boy has ever seen... ever. Probably combined.
I’m northwest of Boston. I still had a tiny bit of snow on my roof yesterday. Now it’s gone. Still have some piles of snow 4 feet high in various places of my property.
It's a perspective thing. I live in RI, and to me it was the best winter ever! I love the snow, and it was a very exciting 3 week period to live through. I don't mind that it is starting to warm up though.
